Ashriel pouted playfully. "You cheated!" She declared, standing up almost immediately from the couch. Her weight was on her good foot, and somehow she was balancing just fine.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn's hands automatically went to Ashriel's wasit to steady her, though she seemed to be doing fine without his help. He smirked at her. "And how did I cheat? I gave you fair warning - Stick your tongue out and I bite it. Seems fair to me." He told her, eyes dancing in amusement at her pout. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled now, looking into his eyes. "I don't know...you just did!" She said before yawning, her eyelids fluttering slightly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "It's only cheating if I broke the rules." Raevyn told her with a grin. "And I followed the rules exactly, so therefore I couldn't be cheating." He paused, seeing her yawn. "Enough of that though. Let's get you into bed." He scooped her up, heading into the bedroom. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"I'm not tired..." Ashriel muttered, although she swiftly fell prey to sleep after he scooped her up. Her hand gripped tightly on his shirt to the point that it would be difficult to get her to let go.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((I was thinking skip to cast off and cat off before birthday.))
Raevyn settled her into bed, then went to go turn off the light only to find he couldn't make Ashriel let go of him. With a sigh, he reached out with him mind, flicking the switch off. He rarely actually used that ability as it took more concentration than it was worth and he could only move small things. But in this case it was warranted. He lay next to Ashriel, curling up with her. When he fell asleep, his form reverted to his true cat form, curled in Ashriel's arm. There he slept until the morning light shone right on his face. He buried his face in Ashriel's chest. "I am moving this goddamn bed. I refuse to be woken up like this every morning." He muttered, not caring if Ashriel was awake enough to hear him. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel woke up quietly, looking at Raevyn. "Pervy kitty~" She said softly, sitting up slowly. "Today I get my cast off, right?" Her hand moved to scratch his head slightly, a smile across her face.
[|-|+Okay, so this will be the day the cast comes off then. And at the mention of him having his face buried in her chest, I had to.+|-|]

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I am not a pervert. They just happen to work well for blocking the light." Raevyn muttered, not even opening his eyes as he shifted to bury his face in the pillows. He purred as she began scratching him. "And yes, today the cast comes off." He said, sounding more awake, though still reluctant to move. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned at that last statement, and she stopped scratching him. "That means I can make breakfast." She told him, kissing his head before standing right up out of bed. Just to try and get him up, she threw open the normally closed curtains and opened the blinds before walking to the kitchen.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Fine, fine. Make it if you want." Raevyn told her dismissively. He simply lay, relaxing. Or at least, he was until she opened the curtains and blinds. He yowled at the sudden light, his fur fluffing up. Hissing, he scrambled underneath the blankets. "That wasn't nice!" He yelled at Ashriel from his hiding spot. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel laughed at Raevyn's reaction, making eggs and bacon. As they both cooked quickly, five minutes later she had two plates ready and on the table. "Wakey wakey eggs and bacy!" She called, smiling as she did so.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Don't want eggs and bacy......" Raevyn muttered discontentedly as he sauntered out of the bedroom. "What I want is a nice dark room. But nooooo. Someone had to go and open the blinds AND the curtains. Couldn't just leave a cat to sleep in peace." He hopped up onto the table and began eating, too lazy to even change forms. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel pouted, eating. "Lazy, cranky kitty." She commented under her breath, eating her bacon calmly. Once she'd finished with her food, she silently got up and went to the bathroom. She washed her hair quickly in the sink before drying it and returning to their bedroom, changing into clothes for the day. After she was all changed, she shut the door and just sat on her bed quietly, thinking.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn ignored her comment as he ate, though he clearly heard it. Once he was finished, he sat, washing his fur. "What are you thinking?" He asked Ashriel, sounding much more pleasant now. "You're only this quiet when you're thinking or I've offended you. And I'm hoping it's just that you're thinking." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel stared at the door, ignoring Raevyn's presence for a while. Perhaps this morning was the time where she got a little bit of alone time? After all, he was being rather cranky. As she heard him again, he sounded a little less cranky. She thought for a short bit longer before answering again, probably just barely audible to the cat. "Thinking about the fates." She commented in her soft tone, her eyes staring at the door. The fates had never been really kind to her. Then again, they hadn't completely abandoned her. It was bothering her now that she realized it. She'd been fated with parents who hated her, four friends, a bunch of Were's against her, and a boyfriend that wasn't allowed to date her. Yeah. Real nice of them.
