You wanna fight? Then bring it on!
~Reyna Feruri~
"Reyna? Oh she-" The woman stopped short as the dog ran off. "Oh dear!" Reyna fell backwards as the dog tackled her, letting out an "Oof!" Great. Now the owner was going to come after his dog and see her. She quickly wormed her way out from underneath the dog. "Stay!" She told it, then took off in the other direction.
Once I'm through, you'll see I've won.

The dog followed Reyna as Scott silently swore to himself, making sure the mother didn't know he knew the dog was chasing after her daughter. "He'll be back. You were saying ma'am?" He tilted his head towards her, but did not look at her. He could point his eyes at her, but he wouldn't be able to see her.

The woman raised a brow, but decided to let it go. "Alright then. As I was saying, Reyna is my daughter. She's out of town for a little while, and I'm not sure when she'll get back. If you'd like, I could give her a message for you." Reyna looked over her shoulder to see the dog chasing her. "Great." She circled around the block, trying to stick to the less populated side of the sidewalk. When she neared her house again, she glanced around to make sure that no one was looking, then leaped up to her roof, landing softly on top of the two story building. "Geez. I come home for one box of supplies, and I end up getting chased by a dog through my military-infested neighborhood. What a lovely day."
Once I'm through, you'll see I've won.

Ian was walking through the streets wondering just how brutal the rounding up was going. The guards all stopped him when their detectors went off, but Ian simply explained that he had no powers because someone else had taken them. This was not untrue, since Ian could only trade and take powers, which he had none of at present. As such, he was allowed to move, on the condition that he be accompanied at all times. Finally Ian was able to bribe his escort away from him so he could continue unhindered. His meanderings took him all over the place when he finally noticed a girl on the top of a roof, running from what appeared to be a dog. "Excuse me ma'am, but may I ask why you're up so high?" The business man asked cheerily.

Reyna cursed inwardly as she was noticed. Some one had seen her at her house! She couldn't yell out to the man who had spotted her. What if her mom heard her?! She moved as far away from the front of the house as she could and shouted as loudly as she dared. "I figured dogs couldn't climb ladders." She pointed to the fire escape on the side of the house as an explanation.

Scott shook his head. Either the mother was clueless or she was lying. His dog knew Reyna was here. Actually, Scott knew too. Her voice carried on the wind. Sounded like she was on a house. Scott waved at the mother and walked off, across the lawn, to where Ian and Renya were. "Hey Reyna!" he shouted. He pointed at the spot in front of him, a sign for her to get right in front of him, like he was talking to a dog.

The woman waved back, then closed the door and went to get ready for her next show. Reyna's eyes widened in surprise. "Scott?" Once she saw him, she realized that the dog was one of his creatures. She quickly made her way over to the fire escape and climbed down. When she reached Scott, she took his hand in hers to let him know she was there. "What are you doing here?" She gave his hand a squeeze as she smiled.

"Say, you blokes wouldn't happen to be in the market for a fresh set of powers would ya? It's kinda my thing, and the reason why I'm scouting for potential clients." Ian said cheerily, reminding the twosome of his continued presence in their proximity.

Reyana whipped her head around to look at the man in shock. "Powers?" She immediately looked around, checking for any members of the military. "I-I don't know what you're talking about. She said nervously, gripping Scott's hand tighter. She couldn't risk getting discovered. Not here, not so close to her mom.

Scott pulled his hand away, violently. "Still treating me like I'm helpless." Scott turned towards Ian and grabbed the back of his collar, dragging him along. "Shut-up. Lets get to cover, apparently we are all crystal users." He could tell no military was around, he could hear it.

"What? No! I was just happy to see you. I didn't think you'd come back . . ." Reyna hung her head and followed the two silently. Great. Just when she had thought she had a chance of patching things up between them, she screwed things up again. No wonder no one had liked her in school.

Once the three were behind cover, Ian shook himself free of the boy and smoothed out the wrinkles the kid had made in his suit. "As you can no doubt guess, I have a crystal, two actually, but the primary one is unique, it allows me to transfer powers between and out of crystals, however, I'm only capable of snatching whenever I have a blank crystal, which is my second one. Now I can do a transfer, now what I can do is take the power from you, trade it to someone else and then I give you the power that was swapped, or if there are two people present, I can just do the exchange with both of them. It's a practical business application that has seen me some profit, though now, with all this government nastiness, I can expand my operation, doing that requires help and clients." Ian explained and stood back to await the responses of his present company. The blind one was likely to take Ian up on his deal, seeing the way he had snatched his arm away from the girl. It was possible that his blindness was a side-effect of his crystal power, whatever it was. Though it appeared the boy did not have much in the way of money, which was fine for Ian, since the boy could prove a useful asset in expanding his business as a Power Pawner.
