Idessa went to the gardens with Granis, holding his hand while they walked there.

The garden was full of flowers, trees, and other well-tended plants.

"It is so beautiful! And I love the scent of all these flowers!" Idessa said happily.

"I am glad to be with you", Idessa replied. "All right, I will try."

First she began to hum softly, then she imitated the sounds the birds made, and finally she wove those sounds into a tune and sang a version of an old merfolk lullaby. Its lyrics were a mother's voice asking the waves to rock the baby's cradle gently.
