I've never really considered myself to have a definitive accent... but I just had a resident come up to me saying he noticed I've had an accent come through in my voice more recently and inquired if I wasn't from around here. Not sure what accent it might be as whenever someone brings up the subject they never really pinpoint on what they're hearing. All I can think is that my Dad's southern roots are coming through.
Or maybe it's just me absorbing different accents I hear and naturally letting them come through my speech.

Well, I think I figured out what "Santa" is going to get for the resident I drew for the resident holiday party. biggrin So I'll probably drop by Home Depot tomorrow after my shift at the animal shelter to pick up what I have in mind. Might even grab something for the employee holiday party as well while I'm at it.
