Ashriel looked at him meekly now, still hiding most of the pain. "It feels like someone is trying to rip my leg muscles in two; it does hurt like hell. I just figure it is because I haven't used it in so long. Surely, if I use it enough, the pain will go away." She told him softly, looking away now.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed, shaking his head. "It's entirely possible that's true." He told her. "Using the muscle too fast can cause it to tear. There's a reason the doctor told you to take it easy and ease back into using it." He said patiently. "You've got to stop pushing yourself so hard." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn quietly. "But...but I'm sick of troubling you. I want to be able to work again; I want to be able to cook." She said softly, glaring at her still hurting leg.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glared at her. "And you will, in time." He told her bluntly. "But not if you keep straining your body. Look Ashriel." He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "You're not troubling me. Get that through your head. I like doing this for you." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel couldn't meet Raevyn's eyes. She felt like she was causing problems for him. But...she supposed if he was fine with it... "Okay...I'll stay off it. If...if it makes you happy." She said softly, reluctantly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((Jeez. Your dream avi is pretty much the exact opposite of my current avi. xD Is the list in your sig what you still need to complete it?))
Raevyn smiled softly. "Thank you Ashriel." He said, visibly relaxing. "I don't like having to worry about whether you're lying to me or not. If your are hurting, I would rather know, that way I can fix it." The tiger that should be....isn't....

[|-|+Yes. And I totally didn't notice the opposite thing. XD. I've been in a bit of a...fiery mood lately.+|-|]
Ashriel nodded quietly. "I still don't like worrying you by telling you that I'm hurt..." She told him, her eyes glancing over to the stove. The soup seemed fine from her, so she did turn her attention back to him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((I've just been playful, playing around with a bunch of new items I got on my last shopping spree.))
Raevyn looked at her seriously. "Ashriel, when you're hurt, I worry. It's only natural. I don't want to have to worry about you being hurt when you're perfectly fine. If I know you're hurt, I worry then. The more you hide this, the more I worry all the time, wondering if you're hurt but not saying it." He explained quietly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel thought for a moment before nodding. "Then I suppose I have to tell you." She told him, scooting closer with the chair.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Good." Raevyn nodded sharply. He put an arm around her in a brief hug before standing up to stir the soup. Looking at it, he decided it was done. He grabbed out two bowls and ladled the soup into them before taking them to the table. "Here." He set one bowl before Ashriel and sat beside her with the other bowl for himself. Ashriel began eating immediately. Due to all the chaos, she could only assume it was around dinner time. Her eyes glanced to the quickly darkening windows. "Is it really nighttime already? How long was I asleep this time?" She asked him quietly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Couple hours." Raevyn said dismissively. "Between dealing with Jennalin and the doctors and your nap, the day's pretty gone." He didn't seem bothered by it at all. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel frowned as she finished her food, obviously not okay with the day being over. "Next time, no doctor." She told him, still having the thing against doctors. She stood up, walking over to the couch and flopping down on it.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn finished his food with a frown. "Ashriel, I don't know anything about first aid really. I definitely don't know how to set a broken bone. We needed the doctor." He told her flatly. He rose and moved to stand by the couch, crossing his arms. "If I think it's needed, I WILL take you to a doctor again." He said bluntly, not lying. While he respected Ashriel and hated causing her stress and pain, he knew nothing about medical things. And he wasn't about to put her life in jeopardy just because she didn't like doctors. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel frowned, not meeting Raevyn's eyes. "Fine, but I won't like it." That, and she'd likely put up a fight. He had taken her to the doctor so many times - and she'd never gone while she was living on her own. Then again, every time she should have she ignored it, not wanting to see the evil men.
