The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn's eyes softened and he spoke quietly. "I would rather you be alive to hate me, than dead because I didn't take you." His quiet words rang with sincerity. Even if it meant Ashriel hating him, he could handle that as long as she was alive to hate him. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him now, shaking her head. "No matter what you did, I would never hate you. Sure, I might get mad...but I won't hate you." She told him softly, patting the couch next to her. He thought she would hate him for such a thing? That was...saddening.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled slightly. "That's good to know." He said, moving closer and leaning over to kiss her forehead lightly. "I'm glad to hear that." He sounded honestly relieved. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn after he kissed her. "Can you...sit by me?" She asked quietly, looking up at him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled and sat down beside her. "You're such a cuddler." He said with a laugh, pulling her into a hug. He obviously didn't mind, merely saying it to tease her. He didn't normally like people touching him but he was perfectly happy to make an exception for Ashriel. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel hugged him back, grinning. "No I'm not! I just like being close to you!" She contested, smiling still.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "That would be called cuddling." Raevyn returned with a smirk. "And it's not just me either. You certainly love those damn pillows." He said with a laugh. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Okay, this part she was honestly clueless about. "Pillows?" Ashriel asked, looking up at Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Yes, pillows." Raevyn said chuckling. "Any time I don't head to bed with you or I leave you alone in bed for even just a minute, I return to find you cuddling with the pillows. It's annoying sometimes." A small frown flickered across his face. "Taking my spot like that. And you've got such a death grip on them that I can't pull them away." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel listened, blushing with embarrassment at the story. At the mention of his spot, she raised her eyebrows. "Your spot?" She asked tentatively, already more than knowing about the death grip. Unlike what many of her friends and classmates think, she was actually stronger than the average human male. Not that it mattered when her pursuers were all Were males.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn flushed suddenly. He hadn't meant to say that. It had just slipped out. "Well, that's normally where I sleep." He muttered, looking away in embarrassment. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel chuckled quietly. She whispered under her breath. "Silly, pervy kitty." Her arms pulled him close, wrapped around his lower waist.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Excuse me? I'm not the one who started that." Raevyn replied with a smirk. "I was perfectly content to sleep on my own pillow. You were the one that grabbed me." The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "And just how is it my fault?" Raevyn asked, mockingly offended. "I was trying to get away!" Well, at least at first. Now he just automatically went to sleep in her arms, not even trying to sleep anywhere else. He always ended up there anyways. Besides, it was comfy. The tiger that should be....isn't....
