I'm loving my current avi's outfit. I modeled it after the character Mollymauk from the second campaign of Critical Role. The coat isn't exact to what he wears... but it's as close I'm gonna get with what's available in my inventory.

So... that makes four shows I watch that will be coming to an end. I'm sad to see them coming to an end... but also relieved that my collection of TV shows to keep up-to-date on will be minimized.

I'm feeling pretty good right now. I ended up applying for a couple job positions today... and then my friend informed me her work place will be having a position opening up next week to the public that I'll definitely be applying for. So... we'll see what happens.

Hopefully this will be the year where I can finally kiss the theater job good bye. I've stayed there longer than I probably should have... and probably caused some damage to my mental health because of it. But enough is enough. I no longer have any strings attached to that place to feel bad about looking elsewhere for a job. Especially with so many changes going on that could affect the number of hours I get per week to work.

I think the hardest part of getting a new job is that many are doing the weekdays - Monday through Friday - with pretty much 8 AM - 5 PM shifts. So... it would mean I would probably have to either change what day I do my volunteering at the shelter (which would be hard to do since I love my co-volunteers I work with) or stop all together (again would be hard to do because kitties!). Also, it would affect me working at the assisted living. I love the people - staff and residents - so much that it would be hard to part with them.
On the other hand... getting a nice paycheck and the potential of getting my weekends back is a nice thought.

Since it's all the craze right now... I suppose you could say I'm using the KonMari method on the work portion of my life. The theater job no longer brings me joy... so it's time to get rid of it.

While I never made an official "resolution" list, there are a few things I'm hoping to fulfill this year and so far I've done fairly well with it.
- Quit job at the theater
- Get another job to replace theater
- Read through piles of unread books
- Catch up on TV shows (including Critical Role)

To be completely honest... I feel like I've lost a sense of who I am and what I want in life. It may be because I'm constantly working back to back. Or because others - especially my parents - keep sending their thoughts and suggestions my way that I can't figure out what I truly want deep in my heart or what I think I want because it'll make them happy.
