"Yeah...I'm done dressing." Ashriel reached up and felt the back of her head, which had hit the wall of the shower. A big bump was quickly rising up - ow. Her head was still swimming, and she was dizzy, but now she thought that if she went to sleep, it would go away.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn turned back to Ashriel. He sat beside her, stroking her hair. It seemed an idle motion, but in reality, he was subtly feeling for any bumps. A frown flickered across his face as he felt the bump on the back of her head. That wasn't reassuring at all. "Hey Ashriel, what's the date today?" He asked, wanting to see if her mind was still working as it should. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel answered the correct date, and she looked at Raevyn. She was relaxed by his hands stroking her hair; she didn't suspect any reason behind it. "Why do you want to know?" She asked, after she was finished telling him the date.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Planning. Debating. Scheming. Thinking. Nothing much really." Raevyn answered absently. Well, it looked like her mental capacities were still okay. She was merely dizzy, something to be expected with a bump like that. He kissed her forehead then shifted to his cat form. The light flicked off suddenly. "Get some sleep Ashriel." He told her kindly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel fell asleep almost instantly. It seemed that the dizziness made her all the more tired.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((Might as well go to her birthday.))
Raevyn was up before Ashriel for once, slipping carefully out of her grip. He headed into the living room were he sat on the floor, arguing with the wrapping paper. He was trying to wrap up the books he'd bought her for her birthday and it wasn't working so well. He'd never wrapped gifts before. Muttering and cursing to himself, he carried on stubbornly, determined to get it done. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel moved in bed when Raevyn got up, not waking. Instead, her arms grabbed a pillow to fill the void that he had left. Raevyn would hear a soft knock on the door, as if someone already knew that Ash was still in bed.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((You're welcome. ^_^ Glad to help.))
Raevyn stopped cursing long enough to look up at the door. He frowned, looking towards the phone. When it didn't ring, he moved and opened the door cautiously, ready in case it was a trick, though no one should have been able to know where they were. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin stood at the door, smiling at Raevyn. "Ash is still in bed, right? That's why I didn't call. Don't want to wake her up." The girl asked, her monotone-like voice seeming much cheerier.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded silently. He glanced over Jen's shoulders as if expecting to see Lucian but he didn't. He didn't but realized the cat must have let Jennalin out on her own. It wasn't so much of a danger anymore though. "Yeah. I left her sleeping. Got up early for once." He moved aside to let her in, closing the door behind her. "Make yourself at home. I'm letting Ash sleep off the bump she got last night." He told her, returning to the living room to work on his present wrapping. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin raised her eyebrows questioningly on the 'bump'. "Bump?" She asked softly, following him into the living room. She seated herself on the sofa, and she watched him work on wrapping Ash's present.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "She fell." Raevyn muttered through clenched teeth, not looking up from his work. "Nothing major. Just a bump." He hissed at the wrapping paper. "Stupid stuff. Why the hell didn't I just get a bag?" He grumbled to himself, trying to get the paper to cooperate. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin laughed at Raevyn's failing progress. "Want some help? I managed to wrap a television before I came." She asked, smiling at Raevyn's attempts.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "No!" Raevyn snarled at her. He paused, then continued in a gentler tone. "No. I can do it myself." He said stubbornly. He hated being helped. He never once looked up from his work. Finally, he set the last piece of tape in place and sat back to admire his work. It definitely wasn't pretty, but it worked. The books were covered in the wrapping paper, though it looked like a child had wrapped it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel woke up and stumbled into the living room. Upon seeing Jennalin, she remembered the date and turned right back around to go back to her room. She shut the door behind her, flopping back into the bed. Jennalin chuckled as she watched her friend go back to bed. "Nothing ever changes." She muttered, smiling.
