I love both. I've been a fan of Green Day longer than I've been a fan of MCR... but that's only because Green Day's been around longer.  As for them "selling out" [I've seen is mentioned a few times] --- define "selling out"? Personally, I don't think neither band has "sold out".

I prefer MCR, though I've only listened to a few of Green Day's songs. I prefer MCR's second album, over The Black Parade. (:

My chemical romance? Green day? Kid, you don't know anything about rock if you like those bands. Personally, wouldn't choose any of them. I think the are just for starters... Believe me soon you will hate them.

I love both bands. They are great. But Gerard Way is the hottest. Though his hair looked horrible when he performed in vienna

Well, seeing as though MCR is the first band I really listened to, I'd have to say MCR. I've only listened to one of Green Day's CDs, so, it's not much of a contest.
I really like Revenge more than Parade, but I do love a lot of songs on Bullets.
Also, Gerard is one of the people who inspires me to become a cartoonist so, I love him a lot. I like his hair better when it was black and kinda long (like in the Helena video) most though.

Both bands are decent, but too overplayed.
