I'm not impressed with Obama's forien connections. He seems way to chummy chummy with the people we are at war with...

I see wat he is sayiong but i think that is good because we need someone that knows our enimy to help us
Pluse being culturally divers can only help with our forighn relations
Lastly it isnt just our "enimys" that he is buddy buddy with it is everyone the whole world (or close to it) thinks that Obama will help american and indirectly them....minuse Asia they are profiting from our struggle

IM not bashing him just putting in my ideas

Well I agree with many of you on some things on here and this is mostly off topic but I do hope that you guys think about this for a few minutes and then post a reply to this chat.

Yes a lot of people are angry with Bush but in a way if many people have taken a philosophy class, sociology class, Government or anything like that then you know that people in large groups will follow the "Herd law" this has been proven true in many asspects. Now Everyone was so hyped up on Bush when he was elected yet when his second term began then the Twin Towers fell. Now many roared a call to action and that is what Bush has done, because he knew that being the leader of the country he had to take action to the crime done to the country. Now no one can tell what will happen once this call has been answered but YES many people were correct; when someone has no real battle experience or at least any strategy experience then everything will go to heck in a hand basket. That was what Bush's problem was. We have not had any real war or battles in the last good couple of years. BUT he also made the mistakes of electing other people who had no experience and had no idea what they were doing about war strategies or ever after war. So they also helped screw up everything even more. And if anyone has taken a class or has even lived they know that when they, themselves, or someone with status or money makes a mistake they immediatly attack them. Because they are in the possistion people in middle class believes that they have the answers and they know how to manipulate things so they should run the country. Yet when something goes wrong everyone MUST HAVE SOMETHING TO BLAME, they will not take the blames onto them selves and they will not admit to them being wrong. Thus Chaos and destruction issues.

So I guess that what I am saying is that people elect what they feel like is what they truely want by what is preched at them during election time yet none truely study or ever research fully who is trying to get into office. The electorals are using other people's money not their own and when they do use their own money they are critisized for it. This makes absolutely no sense to me. Also people do not research if the electorals actually participate in the matters of the country. So when they do elect someone they do not take the blame for when the person they elect screws up they attack the elector when they have no researched and finally deemed the one who will actually keep his promise and make the country better.

For Obama I do not care if he's black, white, latino, a woman or what not but he knows nothing more about running a country then what Bush does right now. You can tell how he always goes back on his word, he stumbles on his speaches because he is reading them from a special board, HE HAS VOTED PRESENT TO EVERY CONGRESS SETTING HE HAS BEEN TO, and he takes long pauses between his speaches as if he is looking for something to please the croud. This tells me that he is not a very good leader at all but more like a puppet like Bush has fallen after the Twin Towers have fallen.

Now for the other guy, I do not like him any better then I like Obama. Yes he has done much for the country, yes he has actually participated in our countries affairs BUT his views are screwed up and he has so much money he MAY be less likely to be bought out. Though he has preched more things I do not like then what Obama has.

So for this next election it is going to be very hard for me because to me each party is way too screwed up or too controlable to even be thought to run our half burried country. Like it has said in the constitution though is not carried out anymore out of fear, Every couple of presidents the government must be driven out by the people or they will become too corrupt and the morals will change from what this country is founded upon as is the PEOPLE'S DUTY TO THEIR FREEDOM otherwise we will be living lives once again that our four fathers have shed blood in giving us the freedom of living free.

Axen Axiel, I agree with you completely, this election has become hopeless. At first, I thought it held promise, because everyone was talking about Hillary and Obama, and how they would change things. Now, it has degenerated into yet another "who is less reliable" campaign like every other. The only thing I can say to help you with your predicament on who to vote for is this... Obama is more likely to change things, for better or worse. First, he is a lot younger, so statistically, more likely to take risks. Next, as his campaign commercials say, he is not from some corporation, he is self-made, so hopefully, he will understand the average joe better. Although that one could easily prove false, also. Lastly, Obama is not caucasian. That is huge. When was the last time that a non-white male president was elected? Never? Oh, ok. So I will still be likely to vote for Obama, because something has to happen in this country; We cannot sit here and do nothing, or we may see another great economic crash in the near future. And with the national debt as it is now, that cannot happen, or else.

I HAVE LOTS TO SAY SO READ UP!!!!

Quote:
Article one- Obama and His VP

Like many have said before me most of his election counts on who Barack will choose to be his VP. I think and have noticed that one of two things could happen.

One- He sucks up to get the socialist b***h with a p***s' voters plus the blood-sucking vampire Elitest[sp?].

Second- we get some Idiot who takes over after Obama gets assassinated after he get's shot by some random KKK guy or racist who hates having a black president. Not predicting just a guess... It's a common thought that he would get shot though I do hope it doesn't happen. Either way. If Obama get's elected we're BONED!!!! [since F****D is a bad word.]

Quote:
Article Two- OBAMA IS A VAMPIRE!!!!

Can anyone actually prove me wrong??? Has anyone seen him go truly outside???? [without the greenscreen] and has anyone seen him eat anything??? I know most pr all people haven't!! Also!! Has anyone actually seen Barack Obama go within a Five foot Radius of a cross??? That was a totally random statement but I find it very disturbing...

EVIDENCE!!!

Quote:
Article Three- Bush Was better even though I hate to say it

In Reality Bush has done many great things for this country. In truth Bush handled the beginning of us going to Iraq and the war on terror very well. It just got out of hand and now most of America is against him. He's also done other good things for the country that I choose to ignore cause I don't care anymore.

Quote:
Article four- Why we should NOT elect Obama

I know that most of my articles have been a bit unorthodox but this one is serious about why we should not Elect Barack Obama. What good will he do for us?? He wants to ban guns, raise most taxes, immediately pull out from Iraq. Also, his plan to help with gas was to Keep your Tires pumped all the time. Which only helps by 2%-4%. It makes NO SENSE PEOPLE. In china, the politicians love Barack, he's young. Fresh Blood. No more of the old guy crap for them. They think it'll make their Economy Skyrocket, why does it need to??!!There are almost no reasons how Barack could help America and TONS why he could hurt it. Please listen to me people. Don't Elect Barack.

Also as a totally non racist joke I heard on comedy central. and I quote, "Who would be left to hate black people? Obama's white Aunt?"

Also Also... BARACK OBAMA HAS ELEPHANT EARS!!!!!!! I mean look at those things. He'd walk into a meeting and nothing who happen because people would laugh too much!!!!

In my opinion, Obama or Clinton needed to win. Something needed to change. No more white, male presidents. We live in a new world and need a president who will represent that properly.

Quite frankly, I hate Hilary Clinton, though, and I intend to register to vote for Obama once I turn 18 only days before the elections. =)

Pardon me if I am missing on some information or am incorrect. I recently moved out of the country (two months ago) and haven't been updated very much on the elections since then.

I just think Obama has the s**t to handle the s**t that makes presidency s**t. Unlike the other candidates, he actually has a plan for the global warming issue, and seems to be ready to make changes for America - but not drastically so.

Such as (and it disappoints me) same-sex marriage. Last I checked, Obama intends to let each state decide for themselves instead of making it a national thing. Unfortunately, he's probably got the best option for same-sex marriage right there - state by state.... There's not much else that can be done about that topic, I hate to say....

Anyway, I'm just going to vote for Obama when the time comes. McCain was apparently an a** hole in college and he's so old. Not only that, but he was a prisoner of war for about 5 years... I believe in... Vietnam? I can only imagine what sort of mental issues he may have buried deep within his bald skull.

Obama's young and ambitious. I think he can make it as president, as long as no one assassinates him, which might happen. I can only hope that it doesn't. And I bet it's going to be some idiotic person who has their head stuck so far up their a** that they can't come out for a second and see the truth behind their crime - they would ******** all of America over.

God, what a rant. Apologies. Do correct me if I have anything wrong. As I said, I haven't been in America in over two months, and have been unable to keep up with the elections.

Plans, Plans. They all have plans. They all talk about doing something and changing this and changing that but they don't change sh*t! It all has to pass through congress. I don't like the candidates this year myself, but if i had to pick it wouldn't be Obama. I think he is the devil and he sold his soul for a shot at the presidentcy. I don't trust him for one darn second. So he can talk til he's blue in the face and i'm still not listening to a word of it. pirate

Young and ambitious isn't what America needs. Obama is just an elitist that would totally screw America over and make the country go into a depression, not just fix the broken economy we're living with now. He's not going to help at all!! He may push for gay marriage but there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HE CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!! as stated before it all get's passed by congress, who over one half at least are not supporters of homosexual rights. He also wants to ban guns and do many other thing that would completely cripple our country. He need someone like McCain, even though he's not much better, he'd still do most of which good things to better our country!!!

There's a website i would like people to look at, i currently forget it but i'll get it from my friend. Its a political website and its pretty good. They go all out on the candadites.

And as for change, yes i believe America is in need of change but in our current state? No, i believe in due time the USA will have a black president, and a female president. But until that day comes everyone will just have to suck it up and get over who is president. And even the international people have their opinions which is great cause its what we need. I know a lot of people will vote for Obama, but if he doesnt get Hilary as a VP then McCain will win.

I don't care who is the president, country still gonna be missed up

I personally don't think that Obama would be qualified for office. He hasn't been in politics long enough, and it almost feels as though there's a bit of a cult surrounding him. I don't like McCain, either, although since he's been in the field of politics longer, he'd have a better idea of how to run the office.

And people seem to be forgetting about the green parties (not that it's likely there would be a president from them anytime soon, but...). If you don't see what you want in the reds or blues, why don't you try looking else where?

Obama mostly puts on a stage performance whenever he gives a speech, and you can tell that he's waiting for audience response when he's giving one. That just irritates me. He might be better than Bush, but we the people reelected Bush, so maybe we don't really know what we're doing anyways.

Personally I do not think that either of the canidates has a great plan on foreign policy. Nor is there any real definite plan behind the energy crisis. I must say though, Mccains move on a running mate was one of the greatest political moves in history.

Has anyone been watching the convention's? Fred thompson has been majorly bashing the liberals. Seems so much more hectic on the right side of the world.

You wouldn't happen to be a voter of the constitution party?

I disagree that the entire ordeal with President Bush comes down to a psychological standpoint. I agree that America itself was hungry for bloodshed after the 9/11 attack and if by some chance John Kerry had one we would be in a situation of despising him for his lack of action.

But there are numerous problems and very few ways to have moved out of those issues. Bush has been bombarded by thousands of raging conflicts and he feels he must involve himself in every single one of them. If the war is such a terrible thing then why is money still funneled towards it by congress which is a mainly democratically based in both chambers. Now to be perfectly honest I am not a policy debater, so I do not have loads of evidence at my dispose. Id like to assume that we all know that there were very few directions that could have been taken, or could be taken even now on issues ranging from gay marriage, abortion, war on terror, or even the downfall in education.

The idea that we should all discreetly despise Obama because he does not make his own speeches is ignorance at his best. He was not given any experience in policy debate so this is a entirely new experience for him as a whole. Mcain on the other hand was given the chance at one of the largest conservative institutes in America. From the start he was taught what to believe and has a conservative till death attitude that many are looking for. To be honest the role as president will play a major role primarily in judicial activism/restraint, federalism, and representation. I identify myself as a republican, but I belive that a democratic president is nessacary as to achieve any said goals as the Republican party has dramatically declined. I would cast my vote for Obama/Biden, over Mccain/ Palen ticket.
