Eleanore groaned softly, still rather tired from the previous night. She had only slept about two hours now, having spent so much time working on her latest sculpture. It was one of the pieces in which she went without a model to go by. As always, it was turning out splendidly, but Eleanore - as the perfectionist she was - thought otherwise. Still, this was no excuse for her to get up late. "I'm up, I'm up..." she mumbled, slowly moving herself out of bed and going on to groom herself for the day. Although she would have preffered to, other people didn't seem to tolerate it well whenever she walked out in public with a case of bedhead.

Translator--- Ashriel looked at Eleanore as Eleanore left her bedroom. "Eleanore, did you get sufficient sleep last night? You seem rather exhausted." She commented, her voice having a metallic tinge to it, as it often did before her vocal box fully woke back up. "Are you feeling well?" She questioned, knowing from her data bank that exhaustion was one of the first signs of illness. Even as she questioned her roommate, she moved to make Eleanore a breakfast - eggs and toast. She waited for her roommate to finish grooming so they could go to class.

x │✦ Gabe squinted off into the distance, the sun was just barely rising over the horizon. Sun's not even up yet he thought to himself as he let out a loud yawn and stretched before slouching in his seat in the back of the taxi. It wasn't often that he was getting an offer to another school, in fact, it must have been a complete mistake. Sure, he knew that he had a knack for music, but it shouldn't have been enough to go to a school for the gifted. The moment that Gabriel was about to doze off, the car halted and shook him awake. Sitting upright, Gabriel looked up to see the school he would soon be attending to. It looked too nice for someone like him, was it too late to turn back now? Nonetheless, Gabe automatically began moving his things from the trunk of the taxi and dragged it behind him, one of the teachers greeting him and helping him with his things to lead him to his dorm room. Nervous? Maybe. Scared? Not in a million years he wouldn't be. All Gabe had was a large trunk for all of his clothes and other knick knacks in one hand and his guitar case in the other. He wasn't too sure how long he'd stay anyways before they realize he wasn't as 'gifted' as they thought he'd be, but others were just saying he was being modest. They stopped at a door with a number three marked on it and knocked on it, waiting for his to-be-roommate to answer. ║

~~The sound of what seemed to be an alarm sounded though the room of dorm three. It was early, a routine start to a routine day. Adrian awoke only a tad drowsy, that drowsiness easily cured with a quick shower. He changed into his usual attire, navy blue slack with an unbuttoned navy blue dress shirt, a white undershirt, and a blue tie. He made his way through the wires and circuitry he had around, along with different computer monitors, hard drives, graphic cards, modems, ect. Most was scattered in the living room, mostly on the coffee table. He was in the kitchen making some hot tea when he heard someone knocking at the door.
Ah yes, his room mate was supposed to come in today. He turned the stove to a low heat so the tea would still be heating, and went to the front door. He opened to the door, what he saw not really surprising him.
"Hi. Your my dorm mate correct? Follow me. I'll show you to your room." He simply said, a stern look on him.~~

x │✦ The first thing Gabe saw when the door opened was a clean cut male around his own age. Compared to himself, Gabe seemed like a casual, easygoing guy. Looking around the room, it was rather surprising to see random computer parts littering the area, making it literally look like a silicon valley. As the teacher left him with his things and Gabriel carried his things into the dorm. He stopped for a moment to set his things down as he held out his hand in polite manner. If he was going to stay in the same dorm as this person, hemight as well get off the right foot. "Name's Gabriel. Gabriel Sigma, but Gabe's fine too" As he spoke, Gabe had an awkward half-grin, looking rather sheepish about his first day. ║

Dahlia woke up minutes ago and was now getting dressed. She made sure her clothes were neat and her appearance attractive as she headed out her dorm room to mess around with a few chemical solutions before going to class. She had a neatly folded piece of paper in her handbag that had the solution ingredient quantities. She had been working on that list the night before but she never stayed up late for them since she worked fast and woke up very early in the morning. Coming out of room 2, she noticed the door open in room 3 and turned to have a look and playfully commented in a sweet tone, "Hey, Adrian. You left your door open" Dahlia just happened to speak nicely to everyone but in no way was she the best of friends with Adrian. The close friends she had stuck to her like glue in a way that not a lot of 'uncool' people could approach her. Then, she noticed the transfer student and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "Who's this?" She asked with much curiosity.
((✖OOC: Is there some sort of uniform, btw? And yeah, I had the time to fix a 'pretty post' XP ))

{Sorry for taking so long.}
"I'm fine. I normally sleep about two to four hours a day outside of class anyway." Eleanore replied with a slight chuckle, despite how weary she clearly looked and felt. It wasn't long until she finished brushing her hair, getting dressed into a tan sweater and baggy jeans, as well as putting on matching tan-colored boots. She even wore her signature sweater cap that day, as well as her black, thin-rimmed glasses.

Translator--- Ashriel took a deep breath as she plated the eggs and toast before setting them on the counter. "You should eat breakfast. I am going to go over to Adrian's room for my functions check." She informed Eleanore before stepping out of the room. She stepped over to Room 2, startled when when she saw the door open. Why would the door be open? She stepped in, searching for Adrian. Seeing a male, she spoke. "I am ready - " At that point, she realized he was not Adrian. "You are not Adrian." She said, her voice still rather metallic. "Please, may I have your name for my memory banks?" She asked the male, staring at him solidly. She paid no heed to Dahlia, the girl that lived in the next dorm room over.

~~"Adrian. Adrian McCloud." He responded back, giving him a firm handshake, but still with a stern look. He then saw that Dahila walked in, one of his neighbors that he honestly didn't talk to that much, but still greeted every now and then. "Hello Dahila. I didn't leave it open, my room mate did." He said, introducing the two. "Gabe, Dahila. Dahila, Gabe. Your room is in here, unpack and make yourself at home and be careful not to break any of my circuitry." He then said and went to the kitchen to see if he tea was ready, which it was. He made his cup and took a nice drink, a relaxed smile on his face. He didn't notice that Ash also walked in, but then heard her in her usual manner in Gabe's room. "Ash! That's Gabe. Did you eat anything Ash?" He asked her, noticing her voice was still metallic, which was not good at all.~~

Translator--- Ashriel turned when she heard Adrian. She blinked twice looking at him solidly. "No, I have not eaten. Was I supposed to?" She questioned, the metallic tinge still there although it was slowly going away. She moved to approach Adrian, waiting for something which was routine for her. She did not say anything, as she did not believe she had to. Actually, she was still compiling why Adrian had asked her if she had eaten. Had he expected her to eat before coming? Her digestion process was synthesized, allowing her to get along at lunch time without being noticed.

~~Adrian quickly whispered something in her ear so the other two couldn't hear him. "Your voice was still metallic. I know you don't normally eat yet, it was just a filler question." He said to her, moving away from her ear with a smile. He took another sip of his tea and went to the living room to check on something. "Is Eleanore well? I bet she barely got any sleep again." He asked, checking on two of the modems he was working on currently. Unlike Dahila, Adrian did actually talk with Eleanore, her more of a friend than anyone else unless you count Ash. He was sure that he was confusing Ash with the irregular pattern of the routine. He finished his tea and then went back to his room to grab his stuff for his morning class. "Okay, I'm ready." He then told Ash.~~

Translator--- Ashriel was even more confused after Adrian's words. A filler question? Why would he need that? She did know, however, that her voice needed to warm up. She turned to follow Adrian, moving after him. "Yes, although she did seem tired when I left. She said she was still feeling well, however." Ashriel answered looking at Adrian. What was he doing? Why had they not gone through their systems check yet? And then he said he was ready. Ready for what. "Ready for what?" She questioned, the metallic cling leaving her voice after 'for'. Still, she stared at Adrian, trying to figure out what was going on.

x │✦ Gabe looked ack at Adrian's stern face, wondering if anything he had done was wrong. Did this guy smile at all? He gave a light smile and a wave to the girl's honey-sweet voice who went by the name Dahlia. It seems that the upside coming to this exclusive school were that the girls were cute. Just as he had set his trunk down in the room and the guitar case on the bed, he was surprised to hear an odd metallic sound, nearly inhuman but capable of human speech. Turning around, he saw a girl with a frail figure and silver hair to match the steel grey eyes. Her greeting as strange as her voice, something about her memory banks? For a moment, Gabe had to shake his head to see if exhaustion was getting to him. "Um, it's Gabe. Is...she all right?" Gabe asked. He was just making sure, but the strange sounding voice faded away. But she couldn't hide the way she spoke. Nobody spoke so stiffly like that, perhaps she was a foreigner? She certainly didn't look like anyone out of the country and she seemed to speak english fluently. Gabriel eventually just passed it off as fatigue and scratched the back of his head, feeling silly to have imagined things. He sighed heavily as he lied down on the bed, wanting to go back to sleep, but the teachers would just bother him to go and take a tour of the campus to get a feel around the classrooms. Eventually he did sit up and went over to see the two in the living room. Something kept bugging him in the back of his head though, this girl seemed too rigid and stiff to be normal, even for play acting. If this was some kind of joke on him as the new kid, it wasn't very good at all. ║

~~Adrian knew even more just how confused she was with everything going on. He couldn't conduct a system check with Gabe in the room now. He needed to be in a safer room, life her dorm. "I'm heading out Gabe. Don't break anything." He said. "Come on Ash." He said and left.
Once outside with Ash, he sighed, looking over at his creation. "Sorry for all the confusion. Our routine check won't be routine today cause of Gabe now. It'll probably change from now on two. I'll have to go to your dorm and preform a system check instead. Come on, lets go to your dorm so we can get this done quickly." He said and walked over to her dorm with her. "I really need to fix your metallic tone for a clearer, human tone when start up. Talking like that could tip someone off." He said, letting Ash open the door to her dorm.~~
