{I don't blaim you. He's very fun to watch, good script or no. 3nodding }
Marise was just leaving her chambers, looking far more pleasant and well dressed than she had been when Vez left. Normally, she only prettied herself up when she was leaving or 'entertaining company' for the evening. As no handome village men or known enemies of Vez were hovering around her, one can assume that the case was to be the former. Even so, she dressed in a manner that accentuated her many...'assets'. Today it was black silks that hugged her body, lined at the edges with complex sanguine-threaded embroidery. Her eyes held a somewhat distracted look about them too, as was to be expected when she had such things as hexes or wicked plots on her mind.

"Leaving?", was all Vez asked, not really caring if his wife got herself killed as long as she did not bother him. He himself was going to head to his study since there were no good plays in town. Perhaps if a carnival came, it would be an interesting day but as of the moment, managing the estate was all that needed to be done and as long as the slaves worked their fill and paid rent, there wasn't going to be any problems. "Have fun and try not to afflict the entire town with some terrible disease while you're out", he scoffed. Seriously, with all the strange things that have suspiciously happened and had been covered up in the estate already, the townspeople could be suspicious already. Vez was also aware that the disappearance of beautiful, young maidens might be traced back to him although he would rather starve than have to deal with drinking Marise's blood.
((OOC: He is! I luffles him~ OwO Also, it'd be nice if you have Marise do something horrendous while she's out. I hash list of epic plot twists of doom! ))

{Certainly. 3nodding Should it be something that immediately affects them both? Or just some random act of cruelty or chaos? (Like poisoning the village's water supply or having a prominent member of the community go missing//end up dismembered and floating in someone's well//ripping the hearts out of virgin boys to use in strange curses or something else like that?)}
"I will, and I'll make no promises." Marise almost sang in reply, grinning from ear to ear at her 'husband' before she would depart. Thinking about the attrocities she would undoubtedly commit as she searched for some obscure spellbook and the like made her absolutely giddy. "If anything interesting comes up, I'm sure you know how to find me." With that, she quickly departed, heading off to do unspeakable evils and perhaps a bit of shopping. You know, like she does every other day when she isn't huddled up in her room in fits of paranoia or flocking about village men for a bit of attention.

"Tsk!", Vez simply felt that she would do something horrendous either way. There was a servant nearby. "Follow her, would you? And run back here if anything overly terrible happens." The servant nodded nervously and went on his way. Well, it could be considered a day off except it was potentially life-threatening if he got discovered. Vez turned and disappeared into the shadows, being up in his study in the blink of an eye. He had an extensive collection of useful books up there. The library was a completely different thing though. It was filled with thousands upon thousands of books from the typical book of herbs to the more profound cures to curses and magic-afflicted diseases.

As was no doubt expected of Marise, chaos was sewn in her wake whilst she was away. In her extensive lifespan, she had made numerous enemies. Many of which were dead by natural causes or her own hand, leaving only their descendants and their acquaintance's descendents to torment. Every now and then virgin boys would go missing, either found dead with their hearts ripped out or in a state of mental shock horrible enough to silence many permanently in ceaseless fear and agony. Many vain women found themselves growing rapidly older and uglier as the days passed, whilst Marise seemed to conversely grow lovelier and lovelier. Particularly rowdy priests would wake to find their churches burning violently around them. No one was stupid enough to drink water from the local wells, either. Too much dirtied gore and poisonous substances could be found from within. Even those dying of thirst knew better than to even venture near the wells. It was an honest wonder as to why Marise had yet to be slain, considering her violent nature and lack of mercy or forgiveness for all who wronged her.

After three good, thick books on magic and ancient hidden weapons, Vezmud arose from his chair to stare out the open window once more. A beautiful crescent moon with several twinkling stars lit the dark sky with a radiant glow. And below, the glow was radiant as well. The warm, radiant glow of church fire and some agonized screaming. Vezmud smiled what seemed a genuine smile. 'That's my wife, alright', he thought to himself as he remembered why he married her. It was sad though that the population of the little town below was swiftly dwindling. Many of the young, beautiful virgin girls and boys were disappearing left and right and the suspects were all too obvious. The residents of a gloomy but lavish manor upon a small hill. But who would dare go up there and attempt to open the imposing dark, gothic grilled gates? Practically no one. And it was a good thing too... Unless they attempt to rise up and overthrow them by calling upon outside powers. That would suck big time...

Marise could be seen walking at a steady yet casual pace away from the screams and glowing embers of the terrorized village folk. Her posture was superb, her serene grace supreme. Were it not for the chaos raging a distance behind her, one could easilly mistake her for just another lady of high standing. There was absolutely no doubt that she would pay her grievous sins born from wrath and pride little mind upon her return home. If anything, she would talk of it as she would a simple shopping trip. [To her, it actually was. This one was a failure, though, as she had yet to find what she she sougjt out for to begin with.] After some time had passed, and perhaps as the church fires were beginning to die down, Marise quietly slipped into the front door.

Vez recognized who had arrived. He set down the book he was reading and appeared at the foot of the stairs facing the front doors. "Had fun?", he asked, secretly amused at the trouble she had caused. Surely, the townspeople did not have fun at all but they were humans. Disposable. Vez himself had no care for them except to watch which beautiful maidens were coming of age.

{Eugh, sorry about the quality of my last post. I was typing it rather rushed and through my cellphone at the time. >.<}
A playful smirk once took hold of her delicate features, that dissonant serenity previously held now gone within an instant. "Of course I did!" she purred, somehow looking and sounding rather proud of herself. "Too bad for you that I'm not staying out to have some more, today." she then joked, her eyes gazing into his with that impish sparkle of her's that came ever so naturally.

"I don't really care, either way", Vez said, stepping forward with an elegant lord's stride. His hands at his sides with the lace of his cuffs dangling loosely over his pale, slender fingers. Just then, he stopped after hearing some noises and the sound of flickering fire outside. He peered though the peeping hole of the front door and said, "And it seems you brought trouble with you." With his vampiric eyesight, he could spot the angry mob miles away, marching towards their lovely home. It seemed they brought silver and plenty of it, as well as stakes and all such tools used to kill those of his kind. No doubt, they would catch Marise too once caught.

{Thank you.}
Marise raised an eyebrow in interest at the thought of trouble. "Oh, did I now?" she asked, still retaining her smirk from earlier. "What are.we dealing with and how do you suggest we handle them?" She hoped that this meant she could go nuts with her darker magics. (As if she did not do so already) She would also use the chance to demand a new wardrobe, perhaps, should her clothes be tattered or dirtied in the least.

"Chances are... Food and resources will be dire in a few days. If there are any survivors, they will likely call for outside help to drive us out. And a few other high and mighty people might stroll in here, thinking it's easier to take us down" Vez said, still looking through the peep hole. He looked like he was weighing the consequences. He then continued, "Feel free to go berserk on them. Just make sure no one comes back alive" He said plainly, turning to face Marise.

{It's borderline impossible to survive a morning.}
The look of pure, unadulterated joy that now glowed from every inch of Marise was impossible for her to hide. Were she the type, she'd begin squeeling madly on the spot. Instead, she squeeled madly and hugged Vez as tightly as she could for a total of two seconds. Killing her enemies was by far one of her favorite things to do. Well, that and coming up with new horrible abominations against nature itself in the forms of spells or monsters to seek upon her enemies. That was quite plainly evident as she went on and on to herself aloud what kind of spells she might try. At this point, though, she almost seemed to have forgotten that her husband was even there.

Vez felt surprised at first but he hugged Marise back in the same sensual, flirtatious way he would embrace his meals to warm up their blood and make it taste much better but this one seemed more out of affection than anything. Vez looked at Marise, chucking that she was so happy that he simply allowed her to kill the townspeople. He smirked, showing a fang unconsciously. He began to speak in a low bedroom voice, "It is quite... arousing... that you can find such great gaiety in making scrap of your adversaries.

{The only time I ever can is if I stayed up all night and I'm in nocturnal mode. Even then, it's highly likely that I'll go to bed an hour later anyway. So...I guess that doesn't count? Point being, mornings still suck.
Most certainly! *fumbles about in search of mine*}
Marise, upon hearing Vez's choice of words, quite easilly took on a more sultry look. Speaking in an equally inviting tone, she replied, "Equally pleasing is the prospect of watching you dominate yours." Perhaps strange, but Marise had always enjoyed the look of sheer terror as peasants were forced to bow down at the sight of Vezmund's ghastly nature. (It was never quite the same when achieved through her own magical prowess, it seemed. There was always a look of defiance and hope when facing the witch, the possibility of escape and freedom in their minds that wasn't present when faced against her blood sucking spouse. It wasn't enough of a hindrance to keep her from killing them anyway, of course.)
{I'll find it eventually! }
