In general, I listen to "emo" bands, but I dabble in other genres as well.
However I despise 99% of Rap and Country songs.
Emo, Screamo, Hardcore, Indie, Techno, Industrial, Trance ... I like them the best.

The only band I really really hate is Linkin Park. They're overplayed and I can't stand their rap/rock garbage. Of course my opinion is biased because my (now-ex)girlfriend played them nonstop and had their sickening posters all over her room, but I still hold my opinion. I used to own all three of their CD's until I got sick of them and gave them away.

the Rad Red Echidna Phantasmagorie Arch Angel of the Abyss Goth- My Chemical Romance/ AFI(they're tied) Punk- Bad Religion Rock- Breaking Benjamin Metal- they're heavy metal usually but Powerman5000 My Chemical Romance and AFI are not Goth bands. PM5K is not Metal. they're industrial. domokun
Goth is like Razed In Black, The Birthday Massacre, etc.
And I love Industrial. The best genre ever, probably. 3nodding heart I just want to add to the list Marilyn Manson

some of my favorite bands are....um....alkaline trio, green day, the clash, social distortion, my chemical romance, bullet for my valentine, aiden, avenged sevenfold, system of a down, rancid....and a lot others i dont feel like typing.... mrgreen
