"Wow," Zphal marvelled at the gate house. She never would have expected that big winding cave to have dumped her all the way out here. She was in the northwest now, by Lemon Tree Village! She supposed she had been walking for quite some time underground... all that dark dank air had driven her off the edge. Zphal shook off a shiver, and continued east. Normally, she might have stopped for a bite to eat, but there was no time for that. Her sense of purpose had been renewed. Those zombie bastards were going down.

"You know, Lucifer... I think I'm starting to remember coming to this place." Fairlee said conversationally as the two of them moved through the trees. They were as dark as they were in her hazy memories, but this time there was an air of beauty; snow dusting the trail and hanging from evergreens and branches made it seem like something out of a fantasy movie, or a Christmas card. The girl smiled and leaned her head back with a sigh. "The trees feel familiar..."
"The people you actually talked to don't ring a bell, but the trees you can remember." the silver dragon shook his head. "I'm starting to think my release may have had a negative effect on your brain."
"Nah; I've always been like this." Fairlee giggled, brightening. "Hey look... a building ahead!"
"The Gate House... it was unmanned before. That lead us to the town... we should check there again and hit up the southern trail on the trip back."
"Good idea." Fairlee agreed, having taken to skipping as she moved towards the west.

"On the road agaaaain, we're back, we're back on the road again..!" Fairlee belted out.
Lucifer sighed heavily and took to the air, flying as high as he could in his miniature state. Which, truth be told, wasn't that high. Cheeks puffed out in indignation, the silver dragon flitted back down to the young woman and swiftly flew around her, more to help himself feel better then anything else. Hey, if he couldn't fly up to the heights he was used to, he was darn well going to reach the speeds he was used to.
"What are you doing..?" Fairlee asked, watching her little friend fly with an amused grin. It always made her envious, seeing other creatures fly.
"N-Nothing...!"
"Sure, sure... Let's just keep on a-walkin'. Back the way we came!"

Becca sighed as she walked to the East. Her carols were slightly tiring her, and it was starting to hurt. A tear of determination rolled down her cheek, as she looked up to the cloudy gray skies. "I shall not let the Spirit Of Christmas die!" she yelled angrily to the heavens, showing she wouldn't dare give up. She put on her red gloves, and trudged through the snow in her all-terrain red clown shoes.

Approaching the gate house, Becca smiled. She was so close, nothing could stop her now! She ran west, toward the village.

There's nothing worse than delving into bad memories; one of which was the time when the mustachioed guard eyes Artemis's... let's just say "showy" attire.
She never meant to dress that way... it was the zombies' fault! They were the ones who constantly tore at her decent shirt and jeans attire. Today the lass is clad in a pair of Italian fur boots, a good fedora coat, a burgundy turtleneck sweater and thick denim pants. Along with the red and green quilt scarf, her attire seems presentable.
Luckily the guard isn't around today, and Artemis smiles as she trudged through the pathway.
She can already make out the sweet smell of fresh bread.
