My family is Moroccan, so I know Darija, which is more formally known as Moroccan Arabic. Some of our words are similiar, but we also have our own set of vocabulary, and we tend to pronounce some arabic words differant.
Please- 3fak {Aafak} Bye- Bislama {Bislama} How are you?- Labess 3lik? {Labess Aaleek?} Good-Mazien {Mazien} Pretty- Zwina (f) {Zaweena} Zwin (m) {Zaween} Water- Mah
Similiar words are, Asalam 3laikum, skhorn, yallah, halib, ana, nta, nti, hia and huwa. And we occasionally will use words like Helwa or Miya.
I can also read and write in arabic biggrin
