How do you aquire your Anime?

Downroad for things that are unlicensed. I've come to the point where I really don't watch much licensed anime unless I get it personally recommended, and then I have friends to give it to me.

I use the logic that Japanese companies probably don't mind, since public interest in the states is what fuels most overseas licensing these days, and that's worth more than me waiting 6 months and buying a crummy DVD in a language I won't understand anyway.

Beg, borrow, and buy my friends from either the japanese import store locally for way less than anywhere else, with the exception of Little Tokyo. Then its a day trip to the mall and the fabric district, fabric because its a dollar a yard and that makes cheep cosplay and the mall for Joki resturant because its the best place to eat down there. 3nodding

I get my anime which ever way I can. I have a dvr, so I save the anime of the tv and record them onto dvd's, buy them from the store, get it from friends, or download them off the internet. And seeing as how I barely make enough money as it is, waiting for the next eposode of which ever anime it is to come on tv, and if I only get anime and manga from my friends on holidays, most of my anime does come off the internet.

I know allot of people who say it's lame to download it off the internet, and that pirating is bad, but when ever they say that to me, I simply say, "Look at it this way, even if I didn't download it from the internet, I wouldn't be able to watch it anyways because I don't have the money to buy it(because I would go out and buy the darn stuff if I did.) I'm not paying for it, and I wouldn't have bought it anyways, so in downloading it, I'm not costing the company any money, and I get the enjoyment of anime to boot."
