It's okay guys. Chinese is pretty complicated especially since there are so many dialects, it almost sounds like a thousand different languages instead of just one. I can't understand a word of Canton, and my Taiwanese/Ming Nan Yu is really shabby too. I'm leaving for Taiwan this coming Monday, so hopefully I can get myself to shape up a bit once I get back. My friends there say they're gonna pound a lot of Taiwanese into me. Eeek! domokun Save me!

Where can I find a handy, accurate guide of simple phrases in Cantonese? I just started work and the cooks speak Cantonese. I can say hello, and that's about it.
More than anything, I want to know what they're yelling at me.
Cusswords could be nice too because that's all anyone really says to eat other there. xd

(Hi everyone. My name is Han Ying, but you can call my Jovian.)
My accent is pretty bad. But I still read some paragraphs you guys wrote. I'm not that bad it at. However, I can't read or write Chinese characters.
