"Funny." Jennalin smiled. "See if Ash has one of those canisters of Parmesan. You know, the shaker? Or, if possible, the good shredded stuff. Either will work. Though I prefer the latter." She said, turning off the heat for the sauce. She laid the chicken out on a pan, making sure that they were flat and slightly apart. Pouring the sauce over the chicken, she made sure that it was evenly covered. --any guess to what she's making?--

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((Chicken Parmesan? That's the only thing coming to mind.))
Raevyn nodded and smirked. "Yes, oh mistress." He said teasingly. He searched around and came up with a canister of Parmesan. "This is all I can find. Catch." He said, tossing the can to Jennalin. The tiger that should be....isn't....

--bingo! Jen's version, of course.--
Jennalin caught the canister easily, pouring it over the top of the pan. It wasn't long until the top layer was a whitish color with the cheese. She smiled, putting the pan in the oven.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn moved closer and sniffed at the pan, just before she put it in the oven. Even as a human, his senses were extremely keen. "Smells interesting." He said finally, straightening up to lean against the counter. "How long's it take to cook?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

"'Bout an hour. Basically, it'll finish at about the same time Lix over there will wake up." Jennalin said quietly, pointing at Lix when her name was mentioned.
Ashriel wandered back into the kitchen, grinning as she saw Raevyn in human form. "So you stayed in here and became Jen's food slave instead of just leaving when she said?" It was obvious that the same thing happened every time Jennalin cooked. If you were in the kitchen, you were helping.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced at Lixini and shuddered. He was going to be scarred for life from that experience, he just knew it. As Ashriel reappeared, he grinned at her. "I thought a cat would be safe from being used like that, but apparently not." He said with a laugh. He hopped up to sit on the counter, swinging his legs idly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Nope, no one's safe." Ashriel joked, and Jennalin laughed softly.
"Am I really that bad?"
"Yup. You get cold when you are cooking."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I wasn't kidding when I called you task-mistress." Raevyn said, though he was clearly teasing the girl. "Slave driver there wouldn't let me have a break until we'd finished." He said with a laugh, gesturing to Jennalin. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"That's Jennalin alright." Ashriel laughed.
"Hey!"
"Well, it's true."
Jennalin thought for a moment. "I suppose you are right."
"I'm always right!"
"Oh no you're not!"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn held up his hands defensively. "I am so staying out of this." He announced. "And some people think cat fights are only for cats." He added in a mutter. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Give me three examples of when I was wrong."
"Well, there's first grade at the pumpkin patch-"
"I already said sorry for that a bazillion times! Besides, that was first grade. Doesn't count."
"Okay, then last year you said that you were going to move to Paris-"
"My mom told me I was gonna! I don't think that counts!"
"She was joking with you!"
"How was I supposed to know?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn raised an eyebrow as the two bickered. He cocked his head though, hearing a soft sound from the living room. "Umm, girls? Can we please not unleash the monster unless we have to?" He asked, keeping his voice low. He'd heard Lixini starting to stir, the sound of Jennalin's andd Ashriel's raised voices starting to wake her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Both Jennalin and Ashriel shut up suddenly and stared at Raevyn. "She isn't that bad once she get used to things." Jennalin said softly, glancing at Raevyn.
"She's just so excitable at first." Ashriel said quietly, moving around to glance into the living room at Lixini.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "After that last episode, excuse me if I keep my distance for awhile. I like being able to breathe." Raevyn told them simply. He glanced towards the living room, following Ashriel with his amber eyes. Lixini, in the quiet that had returned, sighed in her sleep. She turned over on the couch, and slipped back into peaceful bliss. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Lixini is still such a child." Jennalin said softly. Out of them, Lixini was the youngest, still only seventeen. That was one of the reasons why she still lived at home.
Ashriel sighed lightly, her fingers combing through her hair. "Raevyn, I suppose you can come to school tomorrow?" She asked softly, taking into account how long he was staying in his human form.
