(Yea why not?)
Nicholas was fast asleep in Leila's bed, rolling around a bit. One would think he was having a nightmare, but he was actually have a very lovely dream with him and Leila rolling around at the park for fun.

Leila heard the light creaking of her bed springs under Nicholas's weight, and she walked over to see what was going on. Nicholas's rolling about on the mattress made it look like he was having a nightmare, but he wasn't moaning or screaming, so Leila was a bit confused. She padded over and put a gentle hand on Nicholas's shoulder. "Nicholas? Are you all right?"

Nicholas heard Leila's voice and felt her touch, but was still sleeping. Out of the blue, Nicholas wrapped around Leila's waist and pulled her on top of his person.

"Yeek!" Leila yelped as Nicholas pulled her on top of him. "Not again. Nicholas, wake up."

Nicholas woke up, seeing that he was holding onto Leila. "Oh, so it wasn't a dream..." He uttered with a yawn. "Good morning again." He said with a smile, still holding on to her.

Leila chuckled, shaking her head and smiling as she kissed him and gently extricated herself from his grasp. "Good morning again. I think Chef may be here by now. I'm going to go check. And you should get up and get dressed. Otherwise you'll end up sleeping till noon."

Nicholas gave a kiss back and nodded. "Alright. I'll go change right now Love." He said with a smile. He then left to his room to go change into some better suited clothes.

Leila smiled and headed down to the kitchen. The cook had only just arrived and was rushing about, getting things done. "Problem with the Metro," she said in explanation. Leila nodded, not really understanding but figuring the older woman was talking about the subway train they sometimes felt rumbling under the street. She took a knife and started cutting up winter-time fruits. Rather than snap at her like she usually did when Leila took 'her things' without asking first, the cook simply flashed a grateful smile.

Nicholas changed and went down to the kitchen himself, seeing the cook and smiled. "Metro?" He asked with a smile, she simply nodding as she got right to work. He saw Leila helping and couldn't help but smile. "Leila I'll be in the music room okay?" He told her so she would know where to send the food. He then gave a wave and went off to the music room, getting onto the piano. He's been getting slightly better at playing, taking Leila's advice and starting slow. The piano was also in tune, Nicholas getting it tuned about a week ago. He was currently learning how to play Joy to the World.

(Oh, lovely. He's learning Christmas tunes. Sorry. I'm a bit sick of them already. Sadly, the music that plays at my work and at the cafe that I spend my lunch hour at has been Christmas stuff since the week before Thanksgiving.)
Leila nodded. "All right, Nicholas." The cook gave Leila a look that the girl didn't see since it was aimed at her back, but she could feel the older woman grinning at her. "What?" The cook simply chuckled. "You really do love him, don't you?" Leila blushed and flicked her ears. "Oh, come off it, Chef."

(Sorry. I did that cause that's how I started to learn how to play piano first with Christmas tunes since they're simple. I could go the Hot Crossed Buns rout if you really want me to =w= )
Nicholas started to get the hang of it, but the song he was playing didn't really make him want to really learn more. "Hmm... what else could I try to play?" He asked himself, shuffling through all the beginning songs he could play.

(Nah. It's okay so long as you try something that isn't a Christmas song. Heck, even Jingle Bells is fine, since it's not necessarily a Christmas song, and I haven't heard it once aside from in my head.)
Leila took a tray with the fruit she'd cut and a couple grilled cheese sandwiches and soup up to the music room. She set the tray on the table, making sure there wasn't any music there first before setting it down. "Sounds like you're getting better at that, Nicholas."

(I guess)
Nicholas nodded with a smile. "Yup I am!" He said happily as he slowly played jingle bells, one of the first songs in his book. "Did you sleep well last night?" Nicholas suddenly asked as he played.
