The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn shook his head. "Between the park incident and the fact that her leg muscles have deteriorated, I don't want her straining herself. She could still tear the muscles too easily for my liking. Which means I need her to be watched while I'm at work. It'll be evening/night shifts though." He said, flipping the pancakes and staring thoughtfully into the pan.
((Heck yeah!!!! Two hundred pages!!! *happy dance*)) The tiger that should be....isn't....

[|-|+Yay~+|-|] Lucian nodded to himself. "I can watch her then. However, you are going to need to be the one to tell her." He said smoothly, not wanting to deal with a likely angry or upset Ashriel. Ash could be more stubborn than him sometimes, meaning that he couldn't really tell her. He took out a couple of slices of toast, setting them aside and putting more bread into the toaster.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded easily. "I was planning to tell her tonight. Or tomorrow morning. I just don't want to overload her brain." He said quietly, putting the rest of the pancakes on a plate and taking them to the table. "Hey Ashriel. Breakfast is ready." He called to her silently. He set out glasses of milk beside each plate. "Jen. Breakfast." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel walked out quietly, thoughtful. She sat at the table, not having noticed the gigantic black box. Lucian set the toast on another plate in the middle, next to the pancakes. He sat down quietly, sitting next to Jennalin - who was next to Ashriel. The leftover seat was to the direct right. "Thanks..." She said quietly, obviously distracted.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled quietly as Ashriel totally missed the new tv box. He took the last seat at the table, using his fork to pull some pancakes onto his own plate. "Well, dig in everyone." He told them all, dousing his pancakes in enough syrup to fill a bathtub. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel raised her eyebrows at how much syrup Raevyn used, electing to use much less - less than a teaspoon. She had a couple of pancakes in silence; however, she saw the huge, wrapped box when she stood to clean her dish. "Jen!" She whined, knowing the culprit immediately. Jennalin only smiled, and Lucian chuckled. The same thing happened every dang year.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn ignores the look about his pancakes. He liked things sweet. He knew it the moment she realized the tv was there. He grinned. "Happy Birthday Ashriel. Go check it out." He told her , gesturing with his fork. Upon closer inspection, two badly wrapped packages could be seen sitting on top of the tv box. One, a small box containing a gift card to her favorite store. The other, the two books she'd been considering buying but hadn't. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel glanced at Raevyn for a moment before walking up to the television. She smiled when she saw the two badly wrapped packages - she already knew they must be from Raevyn. Luke had a neat, clean style of wrapping, and Jennalin's gifts were also wrapped semi-neatly. She carefully opened the smaller package, smiling as she saw what it was. She moved on to unwrap the slightly larger one, grinning broadly at the books. Both were set down on the sofa before she headed back over to the dining table and hugged Raevyn from behind.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled, seeing Ashriel smile. It looked like she was happy with the gifts. He chuckled as she hugged him and reached an arm back over his shoulder to return it. "Happy Birthday Ashriel." He murmured, turning to kiss her cheek lightly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Thanks, Ray." Ashriel used the 'pet' name for Raevyn, smiling lightly. She stood up after a moment, looking at the large box that was obviously from Jennalin. She opened it to find a television valued at nearly two thousand dollars. HD, everything. Ashriel turned about, looking at her friend. "Really, Jen? Did you really think I needed this?"
"Well, you didn't have a tv, so I got you one." Jennalin answered simply, smirking.
"You could've gotten me a smaller one!" Jennalin simply shook her head in response. She always got the best available. Lucian looked in his bag, pulling out two neatly wrapped boxes.
"I think you actually need these. Just in case." He said smoothly, as Ashriel opened each to reveal identical cellphones. They were the cheapest ones that were available with GPS built in. "One for each of you, just in case something...comes up." He told them, leaning back.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled and kissed her cheek once more before letting her go. He watched her open the tv, smiling in amusement at her reaction. He glanced at Lucian as the other cat revealed his gift. He nodded thoughtfully. "Good choice. Thank you." He murmured quietly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian nodded, speaking again. "I'll be paying the phone bill - that is the rest of my gift." And then, he added something in a whisper that he knew only Raevyn could hear. "They have tracking software built in, just in case." He smirked as Ashriel stared at hers, opening the box carefully.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded. "Good to know." He replied in the same low voice. That would definitely be useful if something happened - Not that Raevyn was about to let anything happen. But he appreciate the idea of being prepared, just in case. Lucian nodded before Jennalin abruptly stood up. "Ashriel needs to get dressed so that we can get going." The girl said, pushing a blushing Ashriel to the bedroom. Ash had known this was coming, though. Lucian chuckled as the girls disappeared into the bedroom.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just shook his head, laughing quietly. "You'd think by now she'd be used to it." He commented idly. "I don't know why she still fights things that are inevitable." The tiger that should be....isn't....
