[|-|+Eep! I get post number 3000! YAY!+|-|]
Lucian nodded, thinking for a moment. "She likes to think of herself as being in control; both girls do. Which means that it is a clash of powers between them constantly. I've never seen Ash give in, on any basis." He replied, obviously used to the girls quarreling over silly matters.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn leaned his elbow on the table, head in hand. "How the heck have they not strangled each other or something?" He asked jokingly as they waited for the girls.
((Congrats! xD I get page 200 and you get post 3000. I think we're doing good here.)) The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian shrugged. "I've been trying to figure that out for the past eleven years." He answered, listening as Jennalin fought with Ashriel - Jen was trying to get Ash to put on an outfit that she'd brought with her.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn was half listening to the girls. He wasn't truly worried but if it started getting out of hand then he would intervene. "Whatever it is, it's some kind of miracle. I don't think I've seen two people fight so much yet stay friends." He commented thoughtfully. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Raevyn's name came into the girl's conversation, and suddenly Ashriel was agreeing. She came out wearing a turquoise dress that came down to her knees, along with black skinny jeans. The dress was form fitting, and the neckline had lace on it. Ashriel was blushing as she saw the guys, and Jennalin came out with a proud grin on her face. Lucian's eyes simply widened in surprise - this was the first time Jen had convinced Ash to wear the outfit she'd brought.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn idly wondered why they were dragging him into the argument when he wasn't there. When Ashriel came out though, he blinked in surprise, straightening up. He was speechless for a moment, then a slow smile spread across his face. "You look gorgeous." He said softly, clearly impressed with the dress. His amber gaze skimmed across the form fitting dress before he forced his eye back to Ashriel's. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel's blush deepened as she looked at Raevyn. Jennalin leaned over and whispered to Ashriel. "Told you so." At this, Ashriel's face reddened even further.
Ashriel moved closer to Raevyn, speaking quietly. "Thanks..." Her eyes met his, and she wasn't sure what else to do.

Raevyn rose to his feet, pulling her into a hug. He kissed her lightly before pulling back and smiling. His thumb brushed her cheek lightly. "No need to be so embarrassed. It's a beautiful outfit." He told her in a murmur.

Ashriel hugged him back, smiling as he spoke. "You really think so?" She asked softly, as Lucian handed Jennalin a fistful of money behind Ashriel's back.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn ignored Lucian and Jennalin's betting results, focusing instead on Ashriel. "Indeed I do." He told her with a smile. "I think you look beautiful." He said simply, his voice sincere. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled brightly, whispering her words smoothly. "Thank you." She then leaned up to him, kissing him lightly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled lightly. "Why thank me for the truth?" He asked, returning the kiss briefly. "So how'd Jen talk you into it? It didn't sound like she would win?" He asked, sitting back down at the table. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled. "For telling it, silly." She answered quietly, before blushing when he asked how Jennalin convinced her. "She told me that you'd probably like seeing me in it..." She muttered quietly, not really wanting to say it louder.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn raised an eyebrow, glancing at Jen. She played dirty apparently. He grinned. He didn't mind as it meant he got to see Ashriel in the dress. "Well she was right. I do like it." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel blushed more vividly, a small smile remaining on her lips. "Good." She answered softly, as Lucian and Jennalin debated over whether or not she'd cheated. After a moment, Jennalin saw the time and came up with an excuse to leave the conversation.
"It's time to be heading over to my place." Jennalin said decidedly, and Lucian reluctantly looked at the time to see that Jen was right. Lixini and her siblings would be at the penthouse in a half hour.
