 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn poked Ashriel lightly with his fork. "So? What was the reason behind it?" He asked her, curious. They didn't call it a cat's curiosity for nothing.
Lixini stuck her tongue out at her twin once more before taking a bite of cake and promptly ignoring him. "Mm.......Sugar!" She exclaimed happily, eating the cake gleefully.
Valixia took her cake with a murmured thanks to Lucian. Taking care of all her younger siblings was a full time job most days. She could use something sweet.
The younger twins took their cake with a gleeful shout of thanks. They flopped down on the floor right there to eat, not even bothering to find a chair or table.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel squealed as he poked her, taking another bite of her cake before answering. "My wish involved you." She said softly, grinning as she continued to eat.
Alex sat down with his cake, rolling his eyes with his sister. He was more mature when they had sugar, whereas she was more mature without sugar. Lucian nodded in answer to the murmured thanks as he set to eating. Krixion sat down next to Lexie, trying a bite as if it were going to bite her. A smile suddenly came across her face as she ate increasingly quickly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn raised an eyebrow. "About me?" He asked skeptically. He poked her again. "So what was it?" It was clear he didn't know about the rule of not telling what was wished for.
Lixini began bouncing in place as she ate the cake, humming to herself happily.
Lexie grinned over at her younger sister, watching her eat the cake. "See? Yummy cake! Lexie loves cake!" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel shook her head at Raevyn. "If I tell you, it won't come true." She answered, smiling as she ate.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked confused but decided to just accept it. He shrugged lightly. "If you say so." He looked around the group, becoming edgy as he realized there were young children (and Lixini) that were being fed sugar. "Are we sure this is a good idea?" He asked in a low voice. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled, nodding. "This is how parties always go. Relax - next is presents, then Alex takes the younger kids home, and we'll sit down to watch a movie." She told him, hugging him again. She didn't mind the presents this time around - then again, none of them paid over twenty dollars out of Lixini's family - no where near Jennalin's couple thousand.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn breathed a sigh of relief at the news that the young ones would be going home soon. "And Lixini?" He asked, casting a glance at the hyper girl. She was starting to scare him.
Lixini, her cake finished, suddenly bounded over to Ashriel. The movement made Raevyn jump but she ignored him. "Mine first!" She declared, handing Ashriel a wrapped parcel.
((I suck at getting presents for people I know, so you choose. xD )) The tiger that should be....isn't....

[|-|+Nice. I stick with safe ones. A barnes and nobles gift for her, an itunes card for him...something of that sort. Sometimes the occasional extra.+|-|]
Ashriel looked at Raevyn quickly before taking Lixini's gift. She then whispered quietly, as she opened it. "We'll be watching a movie; she'll relax." She answered, grinning at the present: Biology for Dummies. "Funny, Lix." She told her, shaking her head.
Alex brought over a gift bag that was obviously hastily stuffed. Ashriel pulled out the tissue, rolling her eyes now. "Let me guess: you two cooperated on something. Either that, or Alex couldn't come up with an idea." She said, smiling as she pulled out Chemistry for Dummies.

Lixini giggled at Ashriel's reaction. "I thought you'd like it." She said teasingly. "Now you don't have to ask people for help. You can do it yourself. Cause I know you hate asking for help."
Max and Lexie appeared behind Lixini, nudging at her. "Our turn, our turn!" The younger twins always gave one present from the two of them. They proudly handed Ashriel the present that they had wrapped themselves - As it showed. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel hugged Lixini once real quick before she took the younger twins' gift. She opened it slowly, smiling at the two.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((um.....um.....Idea!!))
The twins grinned up at Ashriel. "You like?" Lexie asked anxiously. "We made it together." Max piped up. It was a wooden picture frame, painted and decorated. Inside, their mother had helped them put a picture of Ashriel and the family. "I painted and-" "I decorated!" Lexie started to speak but Max cut her off to finish the sentence. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned. "I love it." She leaned over to hug them both before Krixion pushed a neatly done gift bag in front of her. Ashriel stood up, opening it quietly and smiled. Out she pulled a slightly large store bought frame - with a drawing done by Krixion of all of them, Raevyn included (in cat form, of course) wrapped around her neck. She smiled, hugging little Krixion.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn watched with a smile, seeing the twins giggle and bounce out of Krixion's way. They were sweet, he realized. Well, when they weren't trying to choke him to death. He leaned closer to see the picture and his smile widened as he saw the cat around Ashriel's neck. Huh. The kid had good memory, considering she'd only seen him one.
Valixia, once Krixion was finished, handed Ashriel an envelope. Inside it was a birthday card and a gift card to the bookstore. "Thought you might like to pick out a non-school book." She said with a laugh. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled, hugging Valixia. "Thanks, Val." She said softly, as Alex lifted Krixion into his arms.
"Lexie, Max, it's time for us to head home." He said, knowing it would take a couple of minutes to coerce the twins out.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "No problem." Valixia said, hugging Ashriel. She chuckled as the younger children were rounded up by Alex. Or rather, were attempted to be rounded up.
The twins' eyes widened on hearing Alex's words. "No! Don't wanna leave!" They cried, running to Raevyn and Ashriel. Max clung to Ash's legs, not wanting to leave. Lexie on the other hand, clung to Raevyn, making the cat stiffen at the contact. The tiger that should be....isn't....
