Two more hours until I can clock off. *sighs*

Ugh. Co-worker borrowed the lighter I had here at the Front Desk and still hasn't returned it. Normally I wouldn't mind but when it's the only one I had left here, it becomes a bigger problem. Especially when I have a resident who periodically comes down asking for a cigarette and I have to escort out to have it lit. stressed

I've tried multiple times to contact her about it but I haven't received a response back. I mean she's probably busy helping a resident... but still... *sighs*

This morning was a little rough. The morning cook sort of snapped at me after I informed her two residents stated they didn't get the items they requested. "One we don't have any bananas. And [resident] didn't request for a second coffee when we were in there. She's just being a little princess." Well, sooorrrrrrrryyyyyy! I'm just passing on the message. No need to snap at me about it.

I was already done with this weekend before it even started. And after all of the emotional rollercoaster aspects I've dealt with so far, I don't blame myself for having that feeling. whee

Ugh. Now I really want my work shift to be over.
Resident asked if he could visit with their family when they came by to drop items off and I reminded him of the current guidelines - no visiting with anyone outside of the facility's community. He tried arguing with me about it and I firmly told him I was done discussing the matter as I could not change the rules, and he was welcome to speak with administrator about it on Monday. In the end, it resulted in me having to take a break in the back room as I broke down crying about it... and he took the items his family brought coldly from me. So... I'll probably be on his bad list for awhile now. Not my problem. Rules are rules. They are there for a reason. Especially at this time in our lives.

I ordered myself Negan's bat and a "Western Hat" (basically Rick/Carl/Judith's hat) from Spirit Halloween. I felt like splurging and getting it... especially since I want to do a Judith Grimes cosplay now.
My friends have participated in a cosplay-oriented selfie inspiration called - #Not TheTimeForAdventuring. I want to do it myself but I don't have much of a selection of cosplays to work with right now, with most of my wigs up at my parents place. Plus I only have two masks right now - the standard blue medical one and the donated handmade cat patterned. I thought the cat pattern one would be totally up Judith's alley... so I'm hoping to do a picture as Judith for the hashtag selfie activity. 3nodding

I'm excited to have both of my Walking Dead boys' signature weapons. I've already got Daryl's crossbow, which I got a few years back because I had planned on doing a Fem! cosplay of him... but haven't gotten around to it. And I'll probably do the same thing with Negan.
