 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn hung back, only moving forwards when Ashriel dragged him. He grinned when Lucian shredded the paper. "Nice grab." He compliment the other cat. It was a nice grab and it saved Raevyn from the wrath of the paper.
Valixia chuckled, watching the siblings. "Calm down Jennalin. It was an honest mistake." She said, trying to placate the girl. It was hard to sound serious though, with the smile on her face. Lixini was just giggling madly, watching it all.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin looked at Valixia, and she smiled. "Fine. But next time, he's cutting the cake." She pointed at Raevyn, and Ashriel smiled lightly.
Lucian sighed a thank-you to Valixia. "Well, I suppose Ash wants to head home." He muttered, looking at her.
Ashriel looked at Raevyn, then at Lucian. "Yeah, I think I need get home, anyway." She answered softly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn raised an eyebrow. Him? Why him? Why not Jennalin? Ah, whatever. He shrugged and glanced at Ashriel, smiling slightly. Home would be nice, away from this all. "Whenever you're ready." He said, not pressuring.
Valixia smiled at Lucian, then moved to hug Ashriel. "Happy birthday kiddo." She murmured playfully. "Hope you enjoyed it all, despite the bad parts." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled brightly, hugging Valixia back. "Thanks Val...and what bad parts?" She asked, a grin broad on her face. She looked at Lixini, going over to the girl the minute she pulled away from Valixia. She wrapped a neat hug around Lixini, grinning as she did so. "See you soon: I promise." She said brightly, before returning to the guys. Jennalin pounced on her with a hug just then, and Ashriel laughed.
Jennalin had a little more to say than Valixia, whispering softly into Ashriel's ear. "You better be thinking hard." She then pulled away slightly, grinning at Ashriel. "You better plan on actually using my present." She said as Lucian gathered the gifts from Lixini's family to carry out to the car.
Ashriel looked at Jennalin, nodding. She knew the second was just a cover for the first. "Don't worry; I am." She said happily, as Lucian rolled his eyes, having heard the gentle whisper.
"Okay, time to head out. Raevyn, you want to take these?" Lucian said, obviously hoping to get the other cat to carry the presents out to the car.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Valixia chuckled and shook her head. "Well, either way, enjoy." She said with a smile.
Lixini bounded over and gave Ashriel a big hug. "Happy birthday Ashy!"
Raevyn rolled his eyes at Jennalin's words. Shrugging, he grabbed some of the presents. Carrying them, he followed the girls out to the car. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded as she headed out to the car quietly. She smiled at Lixini as they headed out, Jennalin leading the way quietly. Lucian got into his truck easily, setting what presents he carried into the backseat. Ashriel got into the truck, her eyes shutting once she was in there. Jennalin sat in her seat, relaxing and waving goodbye to Lixini and Valixia.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn slid into the backseat, setting the presents on the seat between him and Ashriel. He glanced at Valixia and Lixini, smiling slightly. Okay, so that hadn't been as bad as he'd thought it was going to be. He chuckled, watching them wave goodbye, Lixini more enthusiastic than her sister. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Almost the second after the engine was started, Ashriel was asleep, leaning against Raevyn. "Same thing every year." Jennalin commented, not even looking back. She'd already known Ashriel was going to fall asleep.
Lucian chuckled. "We'll carry in the presents, if you carry Ash. She's not going to wake up. Believe us. Jen tried putting a blow horn next to her ear once after one of their parties. Yeah, it didn't work. Not even telling her breakfast was done worked." He commented, pulling out slowly to head to Ashriel and Raevyn's place.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Deal." Raevyn murmured with a chuckle. He wrapped an arm around Ashriel's shoulder's, letting her lean against him as she slept. "Somehow though, I can't say I'm surprised." Ashriel was an easy sleeper, falling asleep almost anywhere. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian smiled as he drove. Jennalin nodded. "She does this every time she has something sweet. If she has too much, like Luke always serves her, she gets sick. But afterward, no matter how much she has, she a crash worse than any of Lix's. Ever notice how she doesn't get sweets often? She won't touch anything with added sugar most days." Jennalin commented, watching out the window.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Now that you mention it......" Raevyn murmured, trailing off, clicking pieces together in his mind. Once they had gotten back to their place, he got out of the truck, picking up Ashriel and carrying her. "Mind grabbing the presents?" He asked the other two as he headed up to the house, unlocking the door and entering. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian chuckled, grabbing half of the presents. Jennalin took the other half, following after Raevyn quietly. Ashriel turned in Raevyn's arms to curl into him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled softly as he felt Ashriel curl into him. "Just set them on the table. We'll deal with them later." He told the siblings quietly. He headed to the bedroom, setting Ashriel on the bed and tucking her in carefully. "Sleep well." He murmured softly, kissing her forehead. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel sighed quietly in her sleep, her arms, for once, not grasping on to anything. Jennalin and Lucian set the presents on the table; both whispered a quiet goodbye as to not wake Ashriel. They then left Ashriel and Raevyn in the apartment, Jennalin swatting at Lucian for one reason or another.
