 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded at Ashriel. "Yeah. I might have to duck out at lunch, just for a break, but I should be fine." He said, thinking it over. As long as he returned to being a cat during the lunch break, he was sure he'd be okay. Gym might not be the most comfortable, but he was sure he'd make it. "Yeah, I'll be okay." He repeated, as if confirming to himself.
((I'm off to bed. Night!))  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded thankfully. She found herself sitting down at the kitchen table, relaxing. Her eyes watched the oven, as if she was tempted to look in and see exactly what Jennalin was making.
"Don't you dare peek." Jennalin said without even glancing back. It was as if she literally had eyes in the back of her head.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced at Jennalin, as if confirming that she wasn't looking. "Is she always this scary?" He whispered to Ashriel from his spot on the counter. "Cause she did that when I took the chicken too." It was kind of unnerving. It made him wonder what all Jen could really do. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Yup, she is. Dunno how. Well, she's not normally this good. I guess she got better with you around. Then again, she always seemed better when her brother was around- wonder if that is related?" Ashriel muttered, Jennalin's focus still on watching for Lix to end up waking up.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked thoughtful for a moment. "It's possible." He admitted slowly. "Our powers are much stronger than an average human's, so it's possible that the overflow of ours could enhance her natural ability." He continued to think, then shrugged. "Or something like that. Who knows."
Lixini began stirring slowly, rolling over on the couch again and curling up into a ball. "Fi'e more min......" She mumbled under her breathe. It was clear she was starting to wake up, something that made Raevyn look at her nervously. He let his human form fade away, leaving just the black cat sitting on the counter. The tip of his tail twitched nervously. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin walked over by Lixini as the younger girl began to stir, Ashriel watching as Raevyn went back to being a cat. "I suppose that makes sense." She said softly, looking at him. "It also means that I can't get away with any sort of prank on her with you around." She joked lightly.
"So you were the one pranking me." Jennalin said cautiously, still watching Lixini.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled. "Apparently not." He said in amusement. Despite his casual tone, he continued shooting the odd glance at Lixini.
Lixini stirred again, uncurling this time. Her eyes opened slowly as she sat up. She rubbed at her eyes and yawned. She blinked and looked around. "I had sugar again, didn't I?" She asked wryly. It always took her a few minute to reorient herself after she woke up. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Yes, you did, Lix." Jennalin told Lixini softly, looking at her. "You took Ash shopping, and you got your hands on several pixie stix." She said, knowing that Raevyn had successfully changed back. "And dinner is done." She said right before the buzzer on the oven went off. Not a glance had been given to it, but now she waltzed over to get the food out of the oven.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini chuckled. "I always do that, even though I know I'll suffer later." She said as she rose to her feet and yawned again. She bounced into the kitchen, happy and cheerful but no where near as crazy as before. She bounced over to Raevyn who immediately scampered away, taking refuge on top of the fridge again. "Aww.....I just wanted to say sorry kitty....." She said with a pout. Raevyn just looked down at her, not moving from his safe spot. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin grinned at Lixini as she set the pan on the stove top, turning off the oven. "Don't worry Lix, he'll have to come down if he wants to eat." She knew full well that she could just as easily set the dish on top of the fridge, but where was the fun in that? She got herself and Lix each a chicken breast, two for Ash, and then half of one for Raevyn, which she again set on the floor. "Chicken Parmesan! My style." She declared as she sat down.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini pouted for a moment before bouncing to her place at the table. "I love your cooking!" She declared cheerfully, sniffing at the food happily.
Raevyn glared at Jennalin, giving a little hiss. "You could put it up here, you know." He told her irritably, climbing down. He kept a careful eye on Lix as he made his way to his dish but she was too absorbed by the food. He relaxed and crouched at his dish, eating. "It's actually pretty good." He said, sounding slightly surprised. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin grinned at Raevyn, thinking about trying something new out on him. She decided not to after a few minutes, eating her chicken quietly.
"It is always great!" Ashriel sang, smiling at her.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn flicked his tail dismissively. "Well excuse me, but I've never eaten her cooking before." He told them loftily, raising his head to look at them. It was only a brief look though as he immediately went back to eating. Despite saying it was only 'pretty good', he was eating it rather fast.
Lixini nodded in agreement. "Jen's an awesome cook!" She chirped happily through a mouthful of chicken. "It's always awesome!" The tiger that should be....isn't....

The girls laughed, glad that Lixini was blissfully unaware that there was a fourth person in their conversation as they ate. As usual, with Jennalin's cooking, there wasn't going to be any leftovers.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini just laughed along, unaware of Raevyn's part in the conversation. She ate quickly, finishing up her chicken and scrapping her plate clean. She took advantage of the moment to sneak up on Raevyn and pet him softly. The cat, too engrossed in his food, didn't notice her until it was too late. He jumped, then relaxed under her soft hand. Involuntarily, he began purring quietly, rubbing against her hand. "Sorry kitty. I get a little bit hyper on sugar." She said with a giggle. "Little is the understatement of the year." Raevyn groused but let her continue petting him. The tiger that should be....isn't....
