Just make it through the rest of today's shift and then I can be home and relax... maybe try to boost my mood up with some Walking Dead.

I decided to start watching Walking Dead from the beginning again. Mostly due to seeing all of those early season versions of Daryl and wanting to relive those moments. And dang! Some of the things said during the first couple seasons really hits home right now with the current COVID situation. A bit strange how statements in a show about a fictional apocalyptic event can resonate so well with a real life situation.
Guess it just goes to show how well the writers are. And how well they did of portraying different people's reactions to it. Some in denial, some just taking each day at a time, some believing it's just a problem outside of their little bubble, and some who have quickly adjusted to the new lifestyle.

I watched one of my online friends play the ending of Last of Us II and man, the visuals of that game are fantastic. The mechanics seem really cool. And I love how well the transition from game play to cutscenes are. Quite emotional storyline of what little I saw too.
And I totally agree with the blogger's choice of dream casting Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Joel. I could totally see it when I watched the cutscenes featuring him.

Resident: *mumbles question* Me: Sorry, what was that? Resident: *mumbles questions but quieter* Me: *turns down radio and other noise to see if I can make out anything*
Come on, guys! If I have to reask what you said, you need to speak louder and cleared. ARTICULATE! Mumbling and speaking quieter isn't helping.
