"I will." Van said giving Mala a quick kiss on the top of her head. "Although you could at least start holding off on the kicking until I'm awake and have gotten used to it." he said with a smirk as he patted her tummy before going to get up.

Mala slipped off of the bed shortly after Van did, going on to collect her clothes from the floor to be washed and to find herself something else to wear for the day.

"Think we should tell Kai and Larai about this?" Van asked as he got dressed and gathered up his own clothes from the floor. "If we don't I'll probably give it away the second the baby starts kicking again and I double over in discomfort."

"Honestly, it'd be kind of difficult to explain. Plus, as I recall, we don't want them to know why this happened to begin with." Mala said, slight concern in her voice. "I can only imagine what kind of reactions they'd have if they found out."

Mala headed down stairs to read for a little bit before packing up the spellbooks she would need. As she passed by Van she said, "Things will get better soon. Don't worry."

"We're going on a trip soon to try and get my immortality back at the very least, due to my sudden ability to age, and now we're linked to the point that I'm feeling the baby kicking. I think I'm allowed to act a little weird for a while." Van said as he looked through their room to see if there were any must haves during their trip.
