Nick felt the snow drop on him, shaking it off before chasing after Sophie for fun. He was catching up until he trip and fell on top of her! Nick closed his eyes when he fell... when he opened them, he noticed he was only centimeters away from Sophie's face, almost kissing... his face going red...

Sophie's face was so red that she was kinda melting the snow around her face. "Y-You ok?" she asked, her warm breath touched his lips.

Nicholas didn't answer, his face beaming red. He could feel her breath on his lips, only wanting to drag him closer to her lips. He didn't know what was happening... why he was feeling so strange...

Sophie looked into his eyes and she was just as confused as him. She wanted to kiss him, but she didn't want him to get mad at her. She sighed and put her hands on his face and moved his head so she could put her head next to his as she hugged him and purred.

Nicholas was starting to snap back into it, hugging Sophie back. 'Was I about to do what I thought I was...?' He thought to himself. For now he was happy with holding Sophie as she purred, the snow like a fluffy pillow they laid on as they hugged.

Sophie looked sad but didn't show Nick as she continued to purr and hug him. I can't tell him how much I like him...I'm just his pet, nothing more... she thought to herself and closed her eyes so not to cry.

Nicholas still thought about it, almost kissing Sophie. For some reason, he couldn't get it out of his head! He didn't know what to do, but hearing her purr did calm him down. "Wanna make a snow cat?" He asked her, still wanting to play with her despite what just occurred.

Sophie put on a smile and nodded. "Sure, that sounds fun." she said and helped him sit up.

Nicholas smiled, but it wasn't as full as it used to be. "Alright. Let's start with the body, then we can get to the face and eyes" He said, starting to pack snow up to make the body.

Sophie smiled and nodded as she helped him. She was quiet as they worked and she would blush deeply if their hands touched. She wanted to tell him how she felt but she decided to keep it bottled up.

Soon enough, the snow cat was done, Nicholas proud of their combined effort. "It's really cute. It was fun making it with you Sophie." Nick said to her with a smile, looking to her and back to the snow cat. "Wanna head back inside?" He asked, lightly taking her hand.

"It was fun making it with you too." Sophie said with a smile. She blushed when he took her hand and she smiled. "Yeah, I'm getting cold." she said.

Nicholas nodded and they both went inside. Chief was already ahead of them, two mugs of hot chocolate waiting for them. "Thought you two could use a warm up." She said with a smile, backing up her things so she could go for the day. "I'll see you two in the morning." She said and then left, the two of them saying bye back. "Want me to help you take off your snow stuff before we have our hot chocolate?" Nick asked, wanting to be helpful.

Nicholas giggled and moved down to her feet, undoing her boots for her and slipping them off. "There you go." He said to her, putting them to the side. "Need any more help or can you take it from there?" He asked her, taking his boots off now.
