"Good morning," Avani said, brushing dirt from her skirt as she stood from the hollow in a tree's roots that she'd manipulated into a bed the night before. "Are you going to head into town this morning?"

Scott smiled. "I got used to camping." He had been traveling a while without a horse. He sat down next to her and crossed his legs, emptying his mind to begin meditation

Kota smiled. "Sure am....I gotta find a map to this temple that's near this town...I have to pay my respects to it after all." He said as he released the tornado and let it turn back into a breeze. "That is part of my journey. going to temples and paying respects in order to become closer to the wind...." He said yawning.

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”The Huntress watches the boy meditate for a moment before returning her gaze to the town. She can sense the other three Guardians far better than she could before after getting close to them. She frowns slightly as she feels her attention being tugged at from a different direction, but the feeling vanishes as quickly as it had appeared. “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Shadow', Mike Oldfield

Rand nodded with a small smile, tilting his head back for a longer gulp of his warm amber cider. He paused in his drinking to think over the time, wondering whether he should recruit Leigh to join him in seeking out the Huntress and Valiant. "Since you're such a cute little Mage, I'm sure the bears love you like one of their own," he laughed before finishing up his cider in preparation for departure.

"Mostly I played with the squirrels and birds." Leigh admitted. "It was rare that the bears actually wanted to play." She finished off her breakfast before asking, "How come you're traveling? My parents sent me off to find something, the Huntress I'm thinking. But why are you out here?"

Randuin paused for a moment from handing off his now emptied mug over to the serving maid, wondering how best to respond to Leigh's inquisition. It wasn't that he was bothered by the question, it was just merely a matter of privacy that he preferred to keep to himself whenever possible. "I guess you could say I'm traveling for personal reasons. One of my biggest motivations is to learn how to fully control my powers. Another is meeting pretty girls worth fighting, either for or against," he replied with a grin and a meaningful glance to his fellow Guardian. Of course, he had managed to conceal yet another matter of significance to his travels; he wanted to learn more about the Light Kingdom, and find out whom he owed the death of his parent to.

"You're very strange, Rand." Leigh Ann said before realizing how that sounded and blushing before adding, "Not-not in a bad way. You're just- no, that's not what I want to mean either. Uh, I-ju-you-." Leigh Ann stopped to take a breath and clear her mind before finding the right words. "You're hard to figure out. A mystery."

Rand grinned at his companion without taking any offense, leaning forward to whisper into her left ear. "I'm a mystery huh? Get to know me-Apparently I'm a strange-in-a-good-way kind of guy who's very good at getting a very pretty maiden to blush as red as a rose." Stepping back he took the time to gaze around in search of a clock, his eyebrows raising at the hour displayed from the one he found hanging from the wall above the service desk. "A little past eleven huh? I wonder if we should find our silver-haired acquaintance from last night now."

"I'm sorry," Leigh Ann said, still a little flustered. "Liek I said, I haven't been around a lot of people... I'm not very good at the... social things that come with the kind of company that can actually understand what you're saying.
"But yes, we should go find the Huntress. I wonder where she went off to."

"A map to the temple? Why not just ask someone to guide you?" Avani asked. "Hint, hint," she said, smirking.

Shechina wasn't too hungry, having taken an apple from the kitchen before leaving her house, but she figured her fellow Guardians were probably eating breakfast, so she headed to the inn where they'd met the day before. Seeing Rand and Leigh Ann in the common room, she waved and headed over to their table. "Good morning, Leigh Ann, morning, Rand," she said cheerily, hiding the anxiety that had been plaguing her since finding out her cousin hadn't been home at all since yesterday morning.
