 "Enjoying the sunshine?"
She turned her head towards the voice, the corners of her mouth rising upon seeing who it was.
"Just blending in."
"You do know we're still on a case, right?" said John.
"And did anyone talk to you dressed like that?" she retorted.
"Not exactly."
"Of course not," she said, letting a brief chuckle out. "No one around here is going to talk to someone who looks like a police officer... or someone associated with them. But sharing gossip with a fellow beach goer. They don't even bat an eye about it."
"So, you got something?"
She gestured with a nod towards a couple laying on a towel laying down the beach from her as she spoke, "Apparently that guy is cheating on his wife with the housekeeper at the hotel they are staying at. Not that the wife will mind since she actually came to this beach to meet up with the guy she's been cheating on him with." She turned her head towards two girls chasing each other around the beach. "And those two will most likely be engaged by the end of the night."
John listened to her in silence before stating, "I meant about the case."
"It is about the case, dear," she said, turning back to look at John, lowering the sunglasses just to glance over the rim of them. "That husband and the wife's lover are both pawns of the leader of the group we are after. And the girl who will be proposed to tonight? She's his daughter." She smirked at his surprise. "And here you thought I was just catching some rays of sun."

I love seeing Hilarie's latest tweets and seeing that she's just as much of a classic car fan as Jeffrey is. She's probably in heaven with all of the cars he's gotten over the years.

Darn it website! Why are you suddenly giving me issues with trying to log in? I've checked the log in info multiple times and know it's correct, so why aren't you letting me in?!
