I will sing my song
Ashriel walked into the home, not getting far enough through the house to go to the bed. Basically, she got to the couch and collapsed, holding the toy panther tightly in her arms as she fell asleep.
I would love it if you danced along.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked worried for a minute as Ashriel collapsed on the couch. He was going to have to be more careful. He hadn't realized just how tired she was. Sighing at himself, he gathered Ashriel up in his arms, carrying her to the bed and tucking her in. Turning off all the lights, he joined her in bed, shifting forms. He curled up on his pillow, seeing as Ashriel had the toy in her arms.
((To morning?)) The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel woke up the next morning groggily. She slowly realized that she had the toy in her arms instead of Raevyn, and she sighed, getting up so as to not disturb him. She made sure the curtains were drawn before setting down the toy on her own pillow and heading silently out of the room. She moved through the kitchen quietly, preparing pancakes.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn grumbled in meows and quiet hisses, climbing from the bed and stalking after Ashriel. He twined around her feet, mewing insistently, demanding to be picked up and refusing to be quiet until that happened. His amber eyes glared up at Ashriel, daring her to refuse him. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel rolled her eyes as Raevyn came out. She picked him up easily, asking him a simple question. "What is up with you today?" Her eyes watched the pancake she had on the stove, however, to make sure it didn't burn while she was holding him.
I would love it if you danced along.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn hissed at the question. He climbed up to Ashriel's shoulders where he promptly sprawled out across the back of her neck. Giving one last grumbled mew, he seemed to fall asleep there, curled against her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Somebody's cranky." Ashriel commented as Raevyn curled up against her neck. She went to working on the pancakes, making them quickly. She focused on not burning them as she cooked; she didn't want the kitchen to stink.
I would love it if you danced along.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn didn't respond. He merely lay curled around Ashriel's neck, a heavy scarf. He seemed content to lay there, balancing easily even as she moved around, cooking. He actually looked like he'd fallen back asleep, draped across her shoulders. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel finished the pancakes and sighed. "Raevyn, are you awake? If so, are you hungry?" She asked, feeling like she was talking to herself. The girl plated herself two of the twenty pancakes she'd made, beginning to eat quietly.
I would love it if you danced along.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn answered in a grumbled mew that sounded vaguely like 'no'. He didn't move from his spot, staying curled up around her neck. Clearly, he wasn't about to get down, food or no food. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel finished up her food, putting away the leftovers. She'd already decided that she would have those for breakfast tomorrow, as well. She looked at him and heaved a sigh. "You do know I need to take a shower, don't you?" She asked him, knowing he wouldn't care to get in with her. At least, not in that form.
I would love it if you danced along.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn opened his eyes and hissed. He grumbled, rising and jumping off of Ashriel's shoulders. He trotted off, tail in the air, heading back to the bedroom. He curled up on his pillow, going back to sleep. Something had made him seriously grumpy this morning. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel sighed as he jumped down and hissed. Something had made him seriously grumpy. She grabbed a change of clothes out of her closet, and she got into the shower. It was a quick one, and she got dressed the minute she was done. Without bothering to wake Raevyn up, she decided to slip out the door. Honestly, she didn't want to be around the grumpy cat at that point.
I would love it if you danced along.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn slept fitfully for awhile before giving up and rising. He padded through the house, looking for Ashriel. When he couldn't find her, he began getting worried. He slipped out the front door, picking up her scent and racing after it. 'Please let her be alright.....' He prayed silently. The tiger that should be....isn't....

By the time Raevyn had gotten up, Ashriel had finally found her tree. She was chucking rocks into the little pond, and her eyes were on the back door of her old home. A sigh fell from her lips as she sat there. She relaxed against the tree, breathing deeply.
I would love it if you danced along.
