"I'm sorry... Maybe I was trying to convince myself..." Ashriel said quietly, looking up at Raevyn's eyes. "They had a baby..." She told him, her voice incredibly soft again. Her eyes shifted over the park, taking in her surroundings.
I would love it if you danced along.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rested his chin on her shoulder, murmuring in her ear. "It doesn't matter. They aren't important. You have better people now, people who love you." He nuzzled her gently, kissing her neck. "It's not worth the time or energy to worry about them."  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel listened to him carefully, calming down. "I guess you are right..." She said quietly, shutting her eyes as she answered. The park was relaxing, as was being so close to Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Of course I'm right." Raevyn said with a chuckle. He grinned at Ashriel suddenly. "Wanna climb again? Weeping willows offer lots of branches to climb. I won't let you fall." He said reassuringly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded. A smile peeked its way onto her face. "Yeah, that sounds awesome." She answered, grinning at Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn, pleased to have made her smile, carefully shifted Ashriel off his lap and stood up. He jumped up to the first branch and reached down a hand to help Ashriel up, smiling. "Come on then. Let's see how high we can get." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded, standing. She took Raevyn's hand, going up the tree with him calmly. Something about climbing trees made her feel better - relax more.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn lead Ashriel up the tree this way, going up a branch, then helping her up if she needed it. The grin never left his face. Like any cat, he liked high places. Once they were near the top, he stopped. He sat on a thick branch, back against the trunk. He gently pulled Ashriel to sit in front of him, her back against his chest and his arms around her waist. "I love being up high. You can see for so long. Or rather, you could if leaves weren't in the way." He said with a chuckle. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded. "Yeah, it is nice...no one can get to you." She said softly, leaning back against him. She trusted that she wouldn't fall; she was plenty comfortable so close to him.

Ashriel laughed lightly, closing her eyes as she leaned against him. She liked trees; she also liked being in his arms. She couldn't think of any way that moment could be better.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn was quiet for a long time, content to hold Ashriel. He rested his chin on her shoulder, closing his eyes. Without warning, he suddenly shifted back to cat, fast asleep. He apparently hadn't been kidding when he said he hadn't slept well. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel was surprised when Raevyn shifted, and she lost her balance. After a moment, she found herself hanging from the branch by her hands. "Raevyn...wake up...please..." She looked down, her stomach churning as she saw how far away the ground was. A glow began to emit from her.
