 To be honest, she never revealed directly to me she was traveling down. I only knew of it because she made a FB post with a countdown on when she would be traveling down to see her family and inquired about photographers in the area she could arrange a family photoshoot with.
So... the fact she never made any indication about friends contacting her to meet up or anything like that is just another reason why I'm not forcing myself onto her time like my Mom was essentially suggesting.

I'm thankful my apartment has been staying relatively cool - or at least, comfortable temperature - so far.

   Netflix finally has a reminder showing when they'll be having Season 10 of The Walking Dead up for viewing. I'm so excited! It means I'll soon be able to see the "Here's Negan" officially in its entirety rather than just pieces bits and pieces together between teaser clips and these animated gifs.

  "You good?" he asked.
"As good as I can be, cowboy," she replied.
The faint smile on his face disappeared as his hazel eyes gazed upon her with empathy, catching the faintest delay in her response, as if she was thinking of how to respond. He closed the distance between them, slowing bringing her into a hug. She stood there for a moment in surprise before bringing her arms up excepting the warmth and love transmitting from him. He closed his eyes as he realized this brief exchange was filling a void residing in the back of his mind that he had been trying to deny; here he was trying to comfort her, when her presence was doing the same for him.
"Thank you," she whispered into his ear, not making any movements to break the hug.

   Through my work's acknowledgement reward system, I was able to treat myself to a few things like Taylor Swift's Folklore and Evermore albums, and The Unholy movie. Still good second time around and definitely can see myself rewatching it over and over again.
