The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn stirred slowly, opening his eyes. "Ash? What's wrong?" He asked sleepily, then saw her. His eyes went wide and he shifted to human suddenly, grabbing Ashriel's hands. Gently, he pulled her up and cradled the girl. "Oh Zeus......Jeez, I'm so sorry Ash! Are you alright?" He asked her worriedly, looking her over. "I'm so sorry." The tiger that should be....isn't....

I will sing my song
Ashriel looked up at him as he woke up, breathing deeply as she looked at him. When he pulled her up, he found herself looking at him nervously. She was still emitting that glow, which was gradually growing brighter. "It's...it's fine. Perhaps we should get you back home...so you can sleep a little more." She told him, shaking slightly. She hadn't expected the fall, and now she was nervous about being up so far.
I would love it if you danced along.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn stroked her hair softly. "Ashriel, Ashriel. Calm down. You're glowing again. Calm down. You're safe." He knew if he didn't do something new she would potentially be scared of heights the rest of her life. And considering how much he loved them, he didn't want that. He wrapped his arms around her waist securely. "Look down Ash. Look at the ground. You're safe. I've got you. You're safe. Nothing to fear." He said soothingly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

I will sing my song
Ashriel looked at him for a moment quietly, her eyes gazing down. "But...what if you fall asleep again?" She asked, taking a breath. Her eyes examined the ground, but this time the glow wasn't stopping as she breathed deeply. Her heart was beating quickly, and she hugged him back lightly.
I would love it if you danced along.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn hugged Ashriel firmly. "Look at me Ash. I'm wide awake. I won't fall asleep, I promise." Indeed, he looked very awake. His heart was only just calming from the scare of almost losing Ashriel. He was definitely not falling asleep anytime soon. "Just try to relax. I need you to stop glowing. You're perfectly safe. Trust me." He said soothingly, arms locked around her waist firmly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn, sighing when she saw him awake. She gripped him back firmly, not wanting to fall again. Gradually she relaxed, no doubt due to the fact that he was right there and probably not going to fall asleep anytime soon. The glow gradually went down as she relaxed, although it took several minutes before it was fully gone. "That was scary..." She said, closing her eyes and hugging him tightly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn breathed a sigh of relief as her glow finally faded. "I know. I'm sorry. That should never have happened." He murmured apologetically. He held her close as if afraid he would lose her. "I'll be more careful next time, I promise." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded quietly. "I trust you...I know you will..." She said softly, her heard still pounding. Her head was against his chest, and her eyes were still shut, unwilling to open again.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn stroked her hair quietly, not saying anything for a long time. When he finally did speak, his voice was soft and coaxing. "Ashriel. Open your eyes please. I need you to look down. You're safe here. Nothing to fear remember. I don't want you to be scared." His arms tightened reassuringly around her waist. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel opened her eyes slowly to look down at the ground. She could still feel her heart pounding, but she knew now that she wouldn't fall. She leaned back against Raevyn after a moment, her body relaxing slightly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn kept a tight hold of Ashriel, murmuring encouragingly in her ear as she looked down. He smiled when he felt her relax against him. "There. See? Perfectly safe." He told her, pleased. "I won't let anything happen to you, I promise. You're safe with me." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded slightly, still leaning against him. She didn't know much of what to say; what was there to say? She'd already said that she trusted him, that she believed him. "Thanks..." She ended up murmuring softly, just barely audible. There was a small part of her that was still slightly nervous, and she knew that. However, she didn't care too much about the fact that she was a bit nervous.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Do you want to get down?" Raevyn asked quietly. Now that he knew she didn't have an instant fear of heights, he was okay with letting her down. He thought she might need some time to relax from her scare. The tiger that should be....isn't....
