I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in my life. And I am horribly limited.--- Sylvia Plath, The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath 1982

Jeffrey Dean Morgan: Regarding @FandemicTour pushing to March. I get that it sucks. But also, it’s so much better. It NEVER was happening in September the way things are going. Not only did we not feel safe, but network would have pulled us all last minute. We will see you in March. GET VACCINATED. XNot that I was planning on attending this year but good to hear they made their decision to postpone ahead of time rather than last minute like some other cons have been doing. With how crazy things are going with COVID, I still don't feel safe traveling anywhere outside of my area. Even though my adventurous heart desires so much to go traveling to various places. But now's not the time for adventuring.

I'm still hesitant about whether I'll be attending any cons this year or not. As much as I miss the con life, I don't want to risk catching something that might be passed on to our residents. Regardless of all of us being vaccinated.

Plus it all depends on whether any of my friends are attending. If there's a good number of us going to one of our local ones, then I might adventure out. But if it's just a handful of them, especially ones I'm not that close with, then it's not worth it.
And of course who is there guest wise. If there's someone I absolutely must see, then I might be more willing to go out. But if it's just a bunch of people I know nothing about or I'm not that interesting in, then I won't bother.

The residents keep telling me they already had their temperatures taken upstairs and I keep telling them, "Well, they haven't sent me what they've gathered, so until then, I'll grab what I can. If we end up with multiple temperatures for y'all, then there will be multiples."
Better to have multiple readings than none at all, honestly.

Felt like a change of avi look. Sort of an end of summer/beginning of autumn look.

JDM tweeted yesterday one of their trees got struck by lightning. Tree seems to be fairly alright; some bits of wood scattered about. No one - human or animal - was hurt; guest house had a few broken windows though.

Oh wow! Maggie and Negan fighting walkers with each other. Now this is quite an interesting development to tease.
