Well, the resident has come back out again. So... I'm assuming he hasn't been "kicked out" again (or he's fallen asleep - which he's done before - and doesn't realize it)... or he finally stopped messing around with stuff which may have been causing him to exit out of the meeting. sweatdrop

Anyway, I feel like the photos in that last set were mixed up. The only one that appears to be correct is the one for December. Like, I think September's image should've been for November and October's for September. Obviously, the jack o' lantern on November's should've been for October. whee

I've been watching Rachel Maksy's videos lately and it got me thinking what era aesthetic I tend to gravitate to. I know for certain about the Victorian aesthetic but I felt like there was always another era that shared the field as well. I think I've finally determined what one it is - 50s.
While there's aspects I can appreciate of the 40s, I don't really vibe with the brown/blacks/muted tones of that era and never really was into the World War vibes prominent during that time. And the color schemes of the 60s are definitely not me - all of those bright oranges, yellows, and what not.

The aesthetic of the 50s definitely suit me though. Both with the pastel/neon colors at one end and the rock n' roll color vibes on the other end. Many of the dresses I've started adding to my collection definitely echo the flowing "tea party" style dresses from that era. And the jukebox? Hell yes! I love the one that my local Burgerville has (or had - not sure if they still have it since they started changing their interior design away from that look).
