Lucian nodded. "Alright...Jen wouldn't tell me." He whispered, sitting down on the couch and glancing back at the two girls who had made their way to the kitchen. "Then again, I don't think Ash told her...she just sort of cried into the phone, saying jibberish the entire time."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded slowly. "She was having trouble talking about it, even to me." He said quietly. "I think she just didn't know how to say it, how to ask for the reassurance she needed." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian nodded. "If you ever need help, call me, or Jen." He said softly, looking at Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I will. But I think I've got things under control." Raevyn said firmly. He was highly independent and would rather do things himself than ask for help. He hated doing that. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian nodded easily, sitting back on the couch. In the kitchen, Jennalin and Ashriel were being eerily silent, although pots and pans were moving around rapidly and the fridge must have opened and shut twenty times during the males' short conversation.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn cocked his head towards the kitchen. "Any idea what's going on there?" He asked, mildly curious. When girls, those two in particular, were silent, it worried him. It usually meant they were planning something. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Not a one." Lucian answered, looking back at the kitchen. Well, that is, before his sister threw things at the both of them. "Stop looking!" She squealed, as Ashriel quickly yelped, a crash of a metal mixing bowl echoing. "Careful, Ash!" Jennalin said, turning back to what they were doing.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn ducked his head, putting a paw over his eyes. "I'm not looking!!" He yelped, dodging the items. He turned his back to the kitchen. "See? Can't look now! Stop throwing things." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"GOOD!" Jennalin said, noting that Lucian had also turned his back. "Now, don't turn back around. I'll know if you do!" She called, and Lucian looked at Raevyn, raising his eyebrows. "Yeah. Those two are being just a tad bit secretive." Bowls continued to move about, drawers opening and closing.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "You think? What was your first clue - The yelling or the bowl thrown at your head?" Raevyn asked sarcastically. He kept himself firmly facing the opposite direction. He didn't want to risk giving the girls another reason to pick on him. "How the hell is it that we can practically take down an army, yet two little girls has us obey orders without question?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian sighed. "Simple. They are girls. Not only that, but one of them grew up around weres and knows how to stop us. And the other...well, we still don't know everything about her." He pointed out, as the girls quieted again, and the clattering became a dull background noise. The beeping of the buttons on the oven could be heard loudly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "That's true I suppose." Raevyn said with a sigh. He sat up and began grooming his fur meticulously, bored while he waited for the girls to finish. He had no idea what they were doing, but after Jennalin's outburst, he wasn't about to go asking them. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The sink ran for a few minutes, and the oven preheat buzzer went off. The oven opened and shut and the timer was set, and Jennalin turned on the television and plopped down next to Lucian. Ashriel walked over to Raevyn and sat down, leaning against the couch and petting him. If either male was to look back, they would see a spotless kitchen, absolutely no hints at what the girl's had been doing.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn stopped grooming his fur, laying his head on Ashriel's lap instead. He purred at her touch, eyes half-closing. "Are you going to tell us what you two were doing? Or do we have to wait?" He asked, a teasing tone to his voice. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Silly kitty. Of course you have to wait." Ashriel said, kissing the top of his head softly before she continued to pet Raevyn. Her eyes looked at Raevyn happily, a smile on her face. She seemed completely oblivious to what had happened the day before, as if the day before had never occurred.
