I wasn't born at the time, and things were a bit chaotic in the aftermath. All I know for sure is that the founders of Hansa were part of a small agricultural community that was spared the destruction, however they found themselves the targets of those less fortunate and were eventually forced to abandon their homes; they knew of the abandoned mining settlement so headed there for shelter
