 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just sighed, then gave a purring laugh. He licked Ashriel's cheek lightly. "Somehow, I figured you'd say that." He told her, whiskers twitching in a cat smile.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Then why'd you ask?" Ashriel asked him softly, giggling at the kiss. At that moment, she seemed like a child having the time of her life. Her fingers moved down his body slowly, petting him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Because every now and then, I get lucky and you actually answer." Raevyn told her teasingly. He purred, arching his back against her hand like any happy cat. His tail waved slowly, contentedly. He ignored Jennalin and Lucian, content to lavish attention on his Ashriel. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled, kissing Raevyn softly again. "I answer when the answer is for you to know. Right now, it is a surprise. Thus, you can't know until it is time." She answered, hugging him lightly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "If you say so." Raevyn said agreeably, licking her cheek again. When she was in a happy mood like this, he was content to let her keep her secrets. He knew they couldn't be anything bad, not when she was so happy. And if it made her happy to be secretive, then he could wait. He was curious though. "Can I even get a hint though? Just a little one?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel thought for a minute before grinning broadly. "Here's a hint: it's foood." She told him, giving him the obvious answer. "That's all you're getting, you goofie kitty." She kissed him again, enjoying this.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Aww.......Come on. That tells me nothing!" Raevyn whined. He leaned against Ashriel. "That's not fair. It has to be a REAL hint, not something obvious like that. I could hear the bowls moving from a mile away." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Not telling~" Ashriel sang, hugging Raevyn lightly before going back to petting him. Jennalin was smirking at her brother, who was frowning with confusion over the entire matter.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Whhhyyyyyy~~?" Raevyn pleaded with her, flopping his head back down on to her lap. He rolled onto his back to look up at her. "Please? You're driving me crazy." The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Nooo!" Raevyn whined then shut up. He batted playfully at Ashriel's hand. She was the only one he would allow to pet him there, the tender and exposed area of his stomach. If anyone else were to try, he would flip out, like he had the first time Ashriel tried. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel laughed, playing along with Raevyn for about a half hour before the buzzer went off on the oven. Both girls sprang up suddenly, Ashriel careful to let Raevyn off her lap. "DON'T YOU DARE LOOK!" Jennalin declared forcefully as both girls went to the kitchen. A sweet scent filled the home as the oven was opened and the girls took whatever had been in it out. They were in there only a short while longer before Ashriel began clapping. "Okay, come in! Raevyn first~" Ashriel giggled, setting their creation on the table.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rolled back onto his stomach, letting Ashriel up. He kept his back to the kitchen, tail twitching in anticipation. He could smell whatever it was they were cooking and it was making his mouth water. At their call, he bounded to his feet, shifting to his human form. He trotted into the kitchen, looking curious. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned as Raevyn came in. On the table sat a hand-frosted cake, and Lucian widened his eyes as he stepped in. He looked at Jennalin, who shrugged. "Ash wouldn't tell me why, just that she wanted to make one for you. And that I had to pick something up for her." She told Raevyn before he could ask, and Ashriel's hands were still behind her back.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn groaned as he saw the cake. "You have GOT to be kidding me." He said, shaking his head. A small smile showed he wasn't really mad with Ashriel. "I suppose you want to sing too, don't you?" He asked playfully. The tiger that should be....isn't....
