Some places in Avenel have high enough doses of toxins in the air to be poisonous; this thing allows you to breathe while in these environments

These little protrusions on its outside are filters; they're normally good for several hours, I have a few spare if they need replacing

Yes; thats exactly what it is, but we call them respirators for some reason
