Ashriel grinned, going up on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek. "Why would I want to do that?" She asked innocently. Lucian and Jennalin were both looking at each other in confusion, making it obvious that she honestly hadn't told them why she was doing any of this. From behind her back, she brought a small tin of catnip. "For the stuff that got...err...tossed."

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled at the sight of the confusion of Jennalin and Lucian's faces. He put and arm around Ashriel's waist, pulling her into a hug. "Thank you." He murmured, kissing her lightly.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned, hugging and kissing Raevyn back. Lucian and Jennalin shurgged, watching the two. "Well...do you two mind if Jen stays with you guys while I go to the store...I'd rather...not have her out with me." Lucian explained, watching them.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled, keeping an arm around Ashriel. "Sure. Want some cake before you head out?" He asked, nodding to the cake. "They put a lot of work into it after all." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Alright, I'll have a piece." Lucian said, before Ashriel spoke up. "Wait. Raevyn has to have first piece." Jennalin looked at Ash, confused. "Why?" Jen asked, her eyes on her friend. "Because. That's why." Ashriel answered, waiting for Raevyn to take a slice.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rolled his eyes and cut the cake. "Don't argue with her. She's in one of those moods." He said playfully. He slid a piece of the cake onto a plate for himself and set it aside. That done, he handed out cake to the rest of them. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned, eating quietly once she'd gotten her cake. Lucian ate quickly, and Jennalin just stared at her piece for the longest time.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn ate his piece quickly, enjoying the sweetness. He arched an eyebrow at Jennalin. "Something wrong?" He asked her mildly, wondering what was up with her. He didn't see anything wrong with the cake. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin looked back up suddenly, and she shook her head, eating quickly now. Ashriel was eating the cake slowly, but that was just her savoring the sweetness. Ash's eyes were on Jen, curious but not actually asking. Before he began to head out, Lucian sent something to Raevyn's mind. "Mum wants Jen to go back to England with her..." He told the other cat, still heading for the door.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn jerked in surprise at the message, eying Lucian. Hm. Really? Yes, he could see that upsetting the vibrant girl. He nodded, letting Lucian leave. He turned his attention back to his cake, licking the last of the icing off of his fork. "Damn girls. That was good." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned at the compliment. She'd just finished her own, and even Jen perked up slightly, hearing the compliment. "Thanks~" Ashriel sang, smiling. "Love you~" She said, moving to peck his cheek, leaving icing on it.

Ashriel grinned back at Raevyn, laughing. Jennalin offered a smile, watching the two. The other girl felt out of place at the moment...partially due to the fact that neither her or Lucian knew how to say no to their mother. Ashriel poked Raevyn before going to clean up the mess from the cake and put it in the fridge.

Ashriel grinned broadly as she looked back at Raevyn. "Hehe. You know you enjoy it!" She called, smiling broadly. Her eyes had noted absently her friend's upset although she knew enough that she shouldn't say anything. She would wait until either Raevyn left the room or Jennalin said something. That was how things like this worked, and Ashriel wasn't about to change that. Besides, if it was really bad, she would have already been told...right? Right... She kept reassuring herself, moving to clean the dishes she hadn't bothered to before. Jennalin smiled uneasily, looking at Raevyn. She wasn't sure what she was going to do. After all, how would she tell Ash she was moving? What would she tell Lix? She couldn't bear leaving them, even if her mother insisted upon it. It just didn't seem right. Under her breath, she whispered a single word. "Help."
