Ashriel's eyes widened as Raevyn jumped ahead of her. Sighing, she listened to him, heading off in the direction she'd thought she'd come in. As Raevyn well knew, she was horrible with directions. Meaning that she accidentally went off in the opposite direction. Not that she was in any mood to listen to someone telling her which way to go.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn groaned silently as he heard her walking off in the wrong direction. He didn't have the attention to spare for her though, hissing as Remy picked him up. To any passersby it would look like they were just glaring but in reality they were having a heated but silent argument. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel didn't get too far away before she bumped into someone else they knew. Luckily, this time it was Lucian that she bumped into. "Ash? What are you doing out here? Where's Raevyn? Where's Jen?" He asked, hugging onto her, seeing the brightness of her aura. "It doesn't matter." She answered, crying and trying to get out of his grip. Lucian began to bring Ashriel back towards her home, going the direction that would bring him right past Sanctuary.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn growled and swiped at the hand that was hold him up, drawing four perfect red lines across Remy's wrist. The bear yelped and dropped him. The cat used the chance to run, heading towards where he could feel Ashriel's mind. Remy started to chase, but quickly gave up and went back to Sanctuary. Raevyn quickly found Ashriel, jumping up to her shoulder. "Turn around, both of you. Let's avoid Sanctuary. I pissed off Remy." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian didn't ask a thing, but he did turn the group around. Ashriel glared at Raevyn quickly when he jumped on her shoulder; she hadn't stopped crying yet. She was still shining like a beacon, and Lucian was more than noticing. "Mind explaining this whole...thing to me?" He asked Raevyn and only Raevyn, through his head, not realizing that something like that had caused this mess.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Later. I'll tell you later, Lucian." Raevyn answered, but he kept his answer broad enough for Ashriel to hear as well. He licked the tears from her cheek, nuzzling her. Then he lowered his voice to speak to her alone. "Please calm down Ashriel. I wasn't trying to hide anything. Trust me, please. I was about to tell you. I had to smooth out the details first, so I knew what I was talking about." He purred in her ear, trying to calm her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel shook her head. "I don't know how much I believe you." She answered aloud, her glow becoming even brighter as she answered. Her eyes watched in front of her as they moved ahead. Lucian directed Ashriel and Raevyn the long way around toward Ash and Raevyn's home.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nuzzled her, purring hard. "Please Ashriel. I never wanted to hurt you. But I can't tell you what I don't understand myself." He pleaded with her to understand. He made a soft whining sound. He didn't want Ashriel to be upset. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Why couldn't you have had the conversation aloud?" Ashriel questioned bluntly, obviously not going to settle down easily after this. She stared straight ahead, and their home was gradually coming to view. People were staring at the group, at Ashriel who not only seemed to be talking to herself, but also was glowing brighter than a lightbulb.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Because Jennalin asked my help to break the news to you. And I couldn't do that until I knew exactly what was going on and what was going to happen." Raevyn told her without hesitation. He nuzzled her insistently. "Please don't be mad. I was going to tell you, I swear." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel said nothing in answer to this. In fact, she might have been ignoring him for all the reaction her body showed. Her aura didn't change at all as they approached their home, Lucian cautiously letting go of Ashriel with one of his hands to open the door. Once they were in, Jennalin looked up, biting her lip when she saw that Ashriel was still glowing vividly. Ashriel moved away from Lucian once they were inside, her hands going up and picking Raevyn off her shoulder and putting him down. She then headed for the bedroom, glaring at him once. "I'm going to take a nap." She said flatly, going into the room and locking it as soon as she was in there. She was honest; she laid down and fell asleep.
Lucian's eyes glanced between Jennalin and Raevyn. "Okay...what just happened?" He asked, completely confused.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn continued to nuzzle and purr in her ear, futility trying to get her to respond. Once inside the house, he sighed and let her put him down. He watched her walk off, his amber gaze mournful. He waited until he could feel that she was asleep before turning to Jennalin and Lucian, shifting to his human form. "She found out I was talking silently with Jennalin. And took exception to it. I keep trying to explain that I was about to tell her what was going on, but she isn't listening to me." He sighed morosely. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian sighed, thinking carefully. He looked at Jennalin. "You have to tell her yourself, when she wakes up." His eyes went back to Raevyn, while Jennalin looked at him like he was crazy. "Tell her? But...but what if she reacts like she did last time mum tried?" "Raevyn will be here to make her feel better." He said, without looking back at Jennalin. "Raevyn, could you tell us when she wakes up? I think Jennalin needs to be the one to talk to her."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked between the two siblings. "What happened last time?" He asked, feeling lost. He wasn't entirely sure what they were talking about. It didn't make sense to him. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Well, Ash and Jen had been staying with me that month - Ash had just ran away from the asylum her parents had actually succeeded to commit her to - and Jennalin broke the news that mother wanted her to go to England with her. The girls were, I think, eleven at the time. Anyway, Ashriel refused to eat or leave their room after Jennalin left, and I had to call my mother and tell her. She brought back Jen; both of us were concerned for Ashriel when she refused to eat. So, Jennalin ended up staying on the premise that I wouldn't let her get into trouble." Lucian told Raevyn the story smoothly, and Jennalin looked down. She'd heard about what had happened after she'd gotten back, and it still drove her nuts that Ashriel had done such a think.
