The park was calm. His dogs were running around in the field, playing with some kids, and he was sitting on a bench, conversing with another dog whose owner had gone for a jog. "Well, you can't expect her to be able to let you out constantly. If you're making her get up, then sit down, and then get up again, it becomes a pain in the a**. Ask to be let out less, and she'll be more likely to do so, rather than being more reluctant. It's all about convinience."
As the owner came up to the bench, Roran stopped talking to the dog. "He was perfectly fine, no trouble at all." Handing her the dog's leash, he smiled and waved good-bye as they jogged off and out of the park. "It's a nice day out."

The large mutate shot metal beams from under his skin at Adrian, while the other went head to head with Amaya, blood already splattering on the walls behind them as light shot into Amaya's arm.As they turned into the next alley, Cali stopped dead in her tracks, seeing a woman and a creature standing in the way. "What's the matter little girl? You look so scared." The woman laughed as she looked at them. "Are you two running from home?" "Look, just back off. I don't want to hurt you." Cali told the woman sternly, Hazama rising by her side as he began to take the same shape as the creature with the woman before them. With Hazama changed, Cali moved Riley behind her, making two doppelgangers of herself go after the woman.((Not as long and detailed as I'd like, but my brain is dying...))

Adrian ducked under the beam and lurched toward his opponent with open claws held close and ready at either side of him.
Riley cowered behind Cali, keeping his eyes shut tight as he clung to her legs, terrified of what might be happening to their parents in the mean time.

He grabbed Adrian by one hand and threw him against the wall, Amaya already down on the floor. The fight was happening far faster than Amaya would have liked, and it seemed like every spot where she needed to not get hit was getting hit.
As Hazama and the creature clashed overhead, Cali kept her focus on her creations, the two dopplegangers going after the woman, though she seemed to be doing just fine against the two of them. Cali could tell Riley was scared, but she was doing everything in her power now to protect him and she couldn't think about her parents. They'd be fine...they were always fine, so they'd have to be...
"Amaya Amaya...you've slowed down. Haven't you? You're lucky I need a familiar face though. Someone with lots of control of their dominion, and a dark history. That would certainly stir things in the direction I want." Seth laughed as he walked over and lifted Amaya, wrapping a hand around her throat.

Adrian gritted his teeth and grabbed the hand of the mutate that had him pinned against the wall. "Ten years now and you assholes are just starting to act...?" he said as he squeezed the mutate's hand, using his powers to try and get severed from the inside out and give him one less hand to dodge.
((If he just threw Adrian and didn't pin him down there, forgive me because the wording could have gone either way there. >>;; ))
Lining the walls of the alley were various posters for movies, and shows, and most of them were old and partially torn away. An ad for the local zoo with pictures of animals, an old movie poster for the latest fantasy epic with a deadly looking knight front and center, and even a poster from one of his dad's past concerts. It was subtle at first, but the images began to shift and move from within the paper frames, their movements becoming larger and more noticable the more terrified Riley became.

((I just meant threw but my brain is so freaking tired so we'll go with what you wrote.))
Apparently the years had erased from Adrian's mind that the mutate he was battling could control blood as well, and better than Adrian, though that soon became apparent as he sped up Adrian's heart to the point that he would pass out soon.
"Fourteen to be precise. But things take time. I certainly needed to hone my powers to be able to control several mutates from several different places at once. And now I'm at a comfortable level." Seth said with a grin as he watched Amaya struggle against him trying to control her.
Seeing the pictures grow, Cali's eyes widened as she turned back to look at Riley. The creature's long arm extended and smacked Cali in her moment of distraction, sending the girl against the wall of the alley hard and knocking her unconscious.
The woman now stalked towards Riley, her insane grin still plastered on her face. "Come here little boy...I'll take you to your parents." She laughed, looking down at him now.

((I forgot why I hate going shopping for pants. Finding something in my size, both in waist and length, is nearly impossible. ~_~))
"Grk!" Adrian tried to fight back and keep his heart from beating so fast. His breathing picked up as his vision began to blur before finally passing out from the strain.
"CALI!!" Riley cried and ran to his sister's side. "C'mon, sis, you gotta get up!" he cried as he shook her, occasionally looking back to the woman walking towards them. "We gotta go!" The closer the woman got the more terrified he became. "No...no, get away from us!!" he cried finally when his dad's old tour poster came to life. The image of Adrian, full size and stylized just like the poster, suddenly leaped out and thrust a speedy claw at the attacker.

"Collect them and follow me." Seth said with a grin, having knocked Amaya out as well. He'd deal with them later when they were easier to handle.
The woman cackled, the creature knocking the poster version of Adrian aside with ease. As she reached for Riley, the woman was suddenly thrown aside by what seemed like nothing.
A girl about Cali's age jumped down from the fire escape, glaring as she held the woman against the wall. "You alright, kid?" She asked as she looked down to Riley.

((It doesn't help that the clothing industry can't decide on one set system in which to mark sizes. One brand's 6 could be another brand's 10. XP ))
"Y-yeah...." Riley nodded slightly before looking back down at Cali while his creation just climbed back into the poster and returned to its pose. For a split second, he was excited. He and his sister were in trouble, she was kinda losing, and then he finally got his powers just in the nick of time. He thought he was going to be the hero and save them both, but the woman just smacked his creation away.

"How do you know my name?" Riley demanded as he stopped in his tracks. "Dad told me not to go with strangers, but mom n' dad aren't here and sis is knocked out, and I don't know what else to do..." he started to tear up, worried about his parents.
((Yes, Falon, who is 18, is totally close to Riley's age, which is 10. xD ))

"Really kid?" Falon sighed as she raised an eyebrow. "Your dad is a famous musician and your mom is a famous author and you're really asking me how I know your name?" She asked as she re situated Cali on her shoulder. "Also I can read your mind. But seriously, kid." She sighed, shaking her head as she continued to walk now.
