 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "And I love you." Raevyn said in response, his mouth curving into a small smile. He nuzzled her softly, running one hand through her hair gently, smoothing it back from her face.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled happily. She moved to kiss him gently, shutting her eyes as she did. It was comfortable to be right there, not a worry to pass her mind. Her aura dimmed as she sat there; it was plain that she was forgetting the things that were bothering her as she stayed so close to him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn returned the kiss, smiling slightly. He was pleased to see her aura dimming. The tension in his body left, content now that Ashriel was happy. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled as Raevyn kissed her back. She was glad to hold him close, her eyes on him. Her aura disappeared for the moment as she looked at him, her eyes settled. "Thank you so much for staying with me." She said easily, her eyes glued on him. Again, she moved to kiss Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn gave a low chuckle. "Of course I stayed. There's no where else I'd rather be." He murmured softly. He kissed her again, reassuringly.

Ashriel smiled, breathing easily. For once, she didn't comment on the fact that it had never happened before; she purely focused on the moment. She didn't even seem to remember anything outside of that moment of being right there with him.

Raevyn lay beside Ashriel, still sleeping. He was in a lazy mood again apparently. He hadn't even bother to shift to his cat form, merely letting the transformation force him to his panther form. He stretched out on the bed, almost as long as Ashriel was tall. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel woke up gradually to find herself holding Raevyn tightly. After a few moments of just laying there, she remembered her plans for the day and her aura flared slightly to become the steady shimmer she seemed to constantly have if she was even a little upset. Quietly, she unwrapped herself from Raevyn and worked at getting up. Once up, she went into the kitchen, going to make breakfast. Perhaps she could figure out a way to get Jennalin to stay. She was able to, wasn't she?

Raevyn opened one eye as he felt Ashriel stirring. He closed it again, letting her get ready for the day in privacy. Once she was in the kitchen, he stretched and yawned. He slithered off the bed and padded into the kitchen. "Morning......" He said as he shifted, rubbing at his eyes. He moved to stand behind Ashriel, arms around her waist and chin on her shoulder. "What's wrong?"

Ashriel looked up at Raevyn quietly. "I can't believe that Jennalin is leaving. There has to be something I can do to stop her." She told him softly, her eyes focusing back on where she was making pancakes.

Raevyn sighed and nuzzled her. "I'm not sure there's anything we can do. I tried talking to her, but she countered everything I said." He said sadly. It seemed like nothing was going to stop Jennalin from leaving.

Ashriel shook her head. "There is always something I can do." She said confidently, with that rare determination of hers. Sadly, determined Ashriel didn't always care about the well being of herself - just about getting what she wanted.

"Well, we'll see what happens." Raevyn allowed, knowing how stubborn she was. Changing the topic, he asked her, "How long until breakfast is done?" He looked over her shoulder at the pancakes.

"Of course I want some!" Raevyn said, sounding indignant. His eyes danced in amusement though, showing he wasn't really upset. "Why in the world would I NOT want any?"
