"Hello...hey Raevyn - can you make sure Ash is ready? I'll be over to pick her up in a few minutes." Lucian said on the other line of the phone. Ashriel seemed distracted, and she had a grin on her face.

"Yeah sure. No problem." Raevyn answered easily, glancing at Ashriel. "Tell Jen to keep an eye on her would you? She's scaring me with how happy she looks." He added in an undertone. Honestly, that grin was a little creepy, considering what the occasion was.

"Wait. She looks happy? That's not good." Lucian answered, an answer that makes this author laugh at the irony of that statement. "Of course I'll have Jen keep an eye on her. In fact, I'll come back to your place after I drop the girls off at the theatre, that way, if any problems happen, they'll reach both of us, not just one of us." He said, and a knock hit the door.

"Yeah, I figured it wasn't a good thing she was so happy." Raevyn muttered. He hung up the phone and answered the door, calling as he did so. "Hey Ash! Let's go. Your ride's here."

Jennalin stood at the door, Lucian standing behind her. "Hey!" Ashriel said, grabbing her cellphone and stashing it in her pocket - where Raevyn could see her do it. She hugged him once before she walked out to join Jennalin, talking ot the other girl. Lucian watched the girls head to the car before turning to face Raevyn. "I'll be back after I get Lix, and drop the three of them off. Alright?"

Raevyn smiled, seeing her take the cellphone. He gave her a hug and a kiss, then shooed her off. "Call if you need anything!" He told her, then turned to Lucian. "Sounds good. See what I mean though? She's smiling. And she's been like that all morning. It's creepy."

Lucian nodded. "Yeah, I see what you mean. You do realize that means she's plotting something, right?" He said, glancing back to make sure the girls weren't listening. "She did eat this morning, right?" He double-checked, since he wouldn't know that Ashriel even ate more than she usually did in the morning.

"Yeah, she ate. More than usual actually. She was already up and cooking by the time I got up." Course, that wasn't saying much considering Raevyn was always slow to rise. He hated getting up in the mornings. He was soo a night person.

Lucian looked confused. "Huh. Last time, I couldn't get her to eat after Mum said Jennalin was going to England with her...let alone feed herself. I wonder what she's plotting..." He said before his truck's horn was honked. "Sounds like Jen's getting impatient."

Raevyn shook his head. "I don't know, but I would really have Jen be careful." He chuckled, hearing the honking. "Better get going before she comes to drag you down. Or just decides to drive on her own."

Lucian nodded. "I'll be back in a bit." He answered, turning about and heading out to the truck. He drove off towards Lixini's place...

Raevyn nodded and slipped back inside. He stretched and shifted to his panther form, sprawling out on the couch.

[-well. Ash's plan starts the next day...so timeskip to next morning? Or do we want some ashxrae socializing before bed? I'm assuming a timeskip of some sort now.-]
Lucian did as planned, picking up Lixini and taking the girls to the theatre. The entire day went out without a hitch, no problems coming up.

Ashriel woke up the next day. She moved quickly to try and get ready without waking Raevyn. She got dressed and tucked her cellphone in her pocket and snuck out the door, praying that Raevyn hadn't woken up. She recalled the directions to Sanctuary that she'd discovered the other day in her sadness.
