I shared a post on Facebook about Robbie Coltrane's (best known as Hagrid) passing. One of my former college acquaintances made a comment going "I'm not going to shed any tears" because he apparently made supportive comments about J.K. Rowling when she first started making transphobic comments. And I'm just sitting here going... "Wow... way to make it all political now."

Like I totally support the trans community and am disgusted with Rowling's continued behavior of making transphobic comments. Hell, I just saw an article today that stated she made a comment of "I'm too rich to care about such-and-such." And while it is disappointing to hear Robbie didn't see anything wrong with her behavior... it just seems like an odd choice to make such comments on another person's post when they didn't ask for it.
