Ashriel shook her head. "Jennalin is going to come back; she has to." She said solidly. "I'll eat when she comes back." She said, finally realizing that Raevyn wasn't going to let her work if she didn't eat.

"Ashriel, you can't force Jennalin to come back. She made the decision and that's final." Raevyn said patiently. He nodded to Colt in thanks as the other Were brought a plate of food. "Now. Eat. And then you can go back to work."

"She told me she didn't want to go." Ashriel argued, ignoring the food that was set in front of her. "She told me her mum said she'd stop paying her rent here." Her eyes glared at the food, obviously not going to touch it.

"That doesn't change anything. Jennalin is going to England and you are going to eat your food." Raevyn told her, his tone just short of a growl. "Jennalin can get a job and pay her own rent if that's the only problem."

Ashriel shook her head. "I will eat when she comes back." She said solidly, pulling out her cellphone. She was about to call Jennalin and tell her what Raevyn had just told Ash.

Raevyn put a hand over Ashriel's, stopping her from calling. "Eat, Ashriel. Right now. I mean it." He said, his voice brooking no arguments. He was deadset on making sure she ate.

Ashriel shook her head. She wasn't about to give up - not even if it was for her own good. She ignored the sound of her stomach growling, struggling away from him. "I'm not hungry." She lied flatly, not caring that her stomach had already given her away.

Raevyn did growl now, annoyed at her stubbornness. "Dammit Ashriel. I won't let you do this to yourself. Eat!" He picked up a bite of the food, holding it to her lips. He didn't care if he had to forcefeed her every bite. She would eat.

"No." Ashriel answered aloud without realizing that she'd just given him a chance to shove the food into her mouth.

Raevyn grimaced but shoved the food into her mouth. He hated doing it this way, but sometimes you had to be cruel to be kind. He put his fingers over her lips, holding them closed and forcing her to keep the food in her mouth.

Ashriel stared at him angrily. She chewed and swallowed the food - only because she knew he wouldn't let her spit it out. Her hand reached up to shove his hand away from her mouth, and she pouted.

Once she'd swallowed, Raevyn pulled his hand away. But only to get another bite of food and rest it against her lips. "Eat Ashriel." He said softly.

Ashriel used her hand to push the food Raevyn was holding away from her lips. "I can't believe you're doing this." She said quietly, not opening her mouth enough that he'd be actually able to get it in. "Fine. I'll eat...but first you have to promise me that you'll listen to what I have to say when we get home." It was apparent that she'd given up on working.

"Fine, I promise." Raevyn agreed, more to get Ashriel to eat than anything. He would have listened to her anyways, but he needed her to eat. He couldn't have her starving.

With that, Ashriel ate a small amount. She sat there quietly when she'd finished. She'd said she would eat - she'd never said how much. Never mind that it was barely even a quarter of the amount she usually ate - it would be harder to get her to eat much more.
