 It's annoying when a resident informs me of an issue and I state I will notify the necessary staff to follow up on the situation, and they just go "Oh, I'll let so-and-so know about it when I see them next." Why bother telling me if you're just going to tell someone else yourself?

Decided to update my phone's wallpapers after coming across that fanart of Ed/Blackbeard and Izzy from OFMD. We'll see how long I'll stick with it (and the Izzy/Jim fanart I decide as the companion) before returning to my previous OFMD wallpapers.

Ugh. Just spend the last 20 minutes on the phone with a woman who was inquiring about her placement on our waitlist and feels like our Director is avoiding her on calling back to give her an update ((I'm sure that's not the case; if it's the same gal as last time, our Director's already called her back.)) After I told her she needed to call back tomorrow when they're actually in, she decided to go on a rant about everything she was upset about - having to wait to know if she's moving into our facility at all, displeasure with caregivers' behaviors she's experienced, injuries she's sustained, complaints about insurances investigating situations, so on and so forth. Like I understand you're upset but why the hell are you telling me all this? I can do nothing about it.
Most of the time I was just holding the phone away from me because she was ranting so loudly and was pretty much doing a one-sided conversation. Not how I wanted to start off my morning.
