Raevyn watched her eat, making sure of every bite she took. "Keep eating. That's not nearly enough. At least half of it, preferably all." He said patiently, still not letting her move away.

Ashriel shook her head. "I can't eat any more." She answered quietly, her stomach churning. Her aura raised slightly so that the Weres around them could see it easily, but humans still wouldn't be able to see it.

Raevyn, seeing her aura starting, sighed. He knew pressing her anymore would just make thing worse. "Alright. Let's get to work then." He said quietly, taking her plate into the back with the other dirty dishes.

Ashriel nodded quietly. She stood up, ignoring the looks a couple of the Were workers were giving her. Easily she went back to working, rushing around the bar to get caught back up. Her determination was obvious as she moved, and her aura gradually dimmed as she worked. It was relaxing her, that was obvious.

Raevyn reassured the other Were's as he worked. It was nothing and it was under control. He kept an eye on Ashriel as they worked though. As she began relaxing, so did he. He found he'd missed the hustle and bustle, being surrounded by people he could at least marginally trust.

After a short while of working, Ashriel's aura went down to the shimmer that was there when she was marginally upset, but thinking about something else. Her focus was on everything else, on her work. She didn't even notice the time pass by as breakfast time ended, and then as lunch time passed right by without her taking a single break.

Raevyn however, had been keeping a careful eye on the time. As lunch time passed, he watched Ashriel, seeing if she showed any signs of a break. When she didn't, he snagged her around the waist again, a plate of food in one hand. "Lunch time." He told her firmly, not accepting "no" as an answer.

Ashriel looked at Raevyn quietly, sighing. "Is it really? But I'm not hungry..." She answered, and it wasn't clear whether or not she was lying. Her eyes were on him solidly, but she didn't try to struggle away this time.

"Yes, really. You can't keep on at this pace without nourishment." Raevyn had apparently given up on getting her to eat a normal amount though, judging by the small portion of food on the plate. He did want her to eat something though. "You need energy to keep up." His voice was calm, not angry, but still firm.

"Fine." Ashriel agreed hesitantly. "But only because we are between rushes." In fact, she actually had to take a break right now, because the only customers were at the bar. She pouted, looking at the food. "Do I really have to eat that much though?" She asked, as if he'd piled her plate high with food.

Raevyn chuckled at her pout. "I only gave you a small plateful. So eat up." He set her plate down and let her go, disappearing to grab some food for himself. He came back to sit beside her, eating, hoping to lead by example.

Ashriel was about to get right back up when Raevyn sat down, blocking her into the booth. She frowned, picking at her food and taking a few bites slowly. Her eyes watched the doors anxiously for a customer to come in and give her an excuse to get up and get back to work.

Raevyn ate steadily until his plate was empty. He made no move to get up though, watching Ashriel eat instead. He deliberately didn't look back at the bar and the customers there. This was their break time and Ashriel was going to have a break whether she wanted it or not.

Ashriel had eaten perhaps half of the small amount she'd been giving before she began to just pick at her food absently, not even moving to eat it. Her eyes were glued on the door as she waited for a customer to come in; although, it was doubtful that they'd come in for at least another ten minutes.

Raevyn sighed as he saw how little she was eating. "Ashriel, finish your food please." He asked her softly. "Remy and Colt can handle the bar for twenty minutes while you eat. Relax, please."
