 What’s something you’ve been meaning to try but just haven’t gotten around to it? There's some local restaurants I've been wanting to go try but just haven't been in the mood to go out to eat lately.

What piece of entertainment do you wish you could erase from your mind so that you could experience for the first time again? Hmm... I don't know. There's a lot of fandoms I'm into that - sure, it would be fun to experience for the first time again - but there's so many memories I've made since I became aware of it that I would hate for them to be ruined by having my mind erased of the show.

What movie title best describes your life? Oh... that's an interesting question. Hmm... let's see. Well... I suppose "What We Do In The Shadows" fits pretty well since I'm quiet and not always "in the spotlight," so to speak. I'm that silent figure who's in the background... either in a side character role or NPC role. sweatdrop

What are some things you’ve had to unlearn? Right now, I think I've been slowly chipping away at the personas that I've tried living up to that others have wanted me to be. Trying to re-discover on who I am as myself - my true self. And that's why I get annoyed when someone asks me "Why didn't you __________?" on something they thought I would be good at. Just because I'm good at something doesn't mean that I want to do it.

It was intriguing the other day when I was having lunch with my co-workers. We started on a conversation on what we let our kids do or what we did as a kid - like not letting them go on their own to a store or movie or whatever at a certain age without certain people present. I was thinking about what I did as a kid and it's interesting to think about it in comparison to today's standards. I was walking up and down the roads around my childhood home around early middle school years, usually spending most of the day adventuring or when with friends, we would go to the store or to the nearby park trails (half the time just going without telling an adult we were living). That would be unheard of these days. xd

So... I had an interesting experience happen last night. One of the folks I became acquaintances with on Instagram after meeting at the Vespertine Winter Ball asked if I wanted to do some RP, which I was like "Not exactly in the mental vibe to do it right now but okay, sure, let's see how this goes", and essentially was using the premise be a way of them revealing their feelings for me. The RP didn't last very long because I was getting a bit annoyed with them sort of controlling on how "my character" was acting as things unfolded ((I didn't mention this aspect to them at the time))... and the very bold circumstances they were wanting the story to go. I was like "Okay, I'm having to put a stop to this RP because I'm starting to get uncomfortable with how this is going, especially since you clearly want the story to go a certain way". They apologized, of course, but then went into the whole "oh, woe is me. Why do I even bother? Maybe I shouldn't even bother getting into a relationship." rolleyes I told them I appreciated they were upfront with their feelings rather than beating around the bush but recommended they get to know someone more before being so bold, especially so they can make sure the other person is even interested or even swings that way. Like... I'm sure there's people out there who would be totally flattered and down for doing things the way they were... but me? Nah. A bit too fast for my liking especially since I hardly know them.
